The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JK BOPEE) has started the Round 2 counselling process for NEET PG admission in MD, MS and PG Diploma courses. The choice filling window is open from December 10 to December 12, 2025, for eligible candidates. This round aims to fill vacant and shortfall seats from Government Medical Colleges after the first round. Candidates who did not get a seat earlier, or want an upgrade, can participate in this round.
Who Can Apply for JK NEET PG Round 2 Counselling?
The second round is open to several categories of students. Candidates without a seat from Round 1, and those who got a seat and joined the college are eligible. Students who could not join earlier due to document issues, fee delay, or non-reporting can also apply. Candidates not participating in Round 1, but already registered, can join by paying ₹2,000 counselling fee.
JK BOPEE will conduct online choice filling from December 10 to December 12 (midnight). Only vacant seats from Round 1 will be filled based on merit and preference. Seats left by Open Merit (OM) students will go to OM candidates, while reserved category seats will go to the respective groups.
The seat matrix will be published on the official JK BOPEE website before choice filling starts. Students must complete online preferences within the given dates, otherwise, they will not be considered for allotment. Admissions will be final after document verification at the allotted college.
After seat allotment in Round 2, candidates must report to the allotted college within the given timeline. Seats vacated during upgradation will be allotted simultaneously based on merit, as per the rules mentioned by JK BOPEE.
