Choices Available to Allotted Candidates

KEA has given four choices to Round 1 allotted candidates. Each choice decides the next step in the counselling process.

  • Choice 1 (Accept and Join): The candidate accepts the allotted seat. They must pay the full fee and report to the college.
  • Choice 2 (Accept but Upgrade): The candidate pays the fee and reports to the college. They also stay in the pool for a better seat in Round 2.
  • Choice 3 (Reject and Try Again): The candidate refuses the seat without any penalty. They can still take part in Round 2 counselling.
  • Choice 4 (Exit Counselling): The candidate exits the KEA counselling process fully. They cannot join any later round.

Documents to Carry at the Time of Reporting

The college verifies each original document before granting admission. Candidates must arrive with a complete file to avoid delays.

How to Download the Karnataka NEET UG 2026 Admission Order?

The admission order is the key document for college reporting. Candidates must download and print it before the reporting date.

  1. Visit the official KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
  2. Click on the UGNEET 2026 counselling link on the homepage.
  3. Enter the CET number and password to log in.
  4. Select the preferred choice and pay the fee if needed.
  5. Download the admission order and take a clear printout.
Why This Round Matters

Round 1 fills a major share of Karnataka state quota MBBS and BDS seats. A wrong choice now can shrink your options later. The Choice 4 exit is final and cannot be reversed in any future round.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in to the KEA portal and check the allotted seat and college.
  2. Pick one of the four choices before the KEA deadline.
  3. Pay the tuition fee online through a listed payment mode.
  4. Download and print the admission order from the KEA portal.
  5. Report at the allotted college with all original documents on time.
Keep an Eye On

KEA will next release the Round 2 seat matrix and option entry schedule. Watch the official portal for mop-up round dates.
