The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has officially revised the schedule for the NEET UG 2025 Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS and BDS admissions.

As per the latest notification, the special stray counselling for State BDS courses has been rescheduled, and candidates will again be allowed to register, delete, or rearrange options. At the same time, option registration for MBBS courses will also be enabled on the official CEE portal. Important dates and changes are detailed below.

The CEE has clarified that the special stray vacancy counselling schedule for State BDS courses has been revised following the updated timeline issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Because of this change, the earlier provisional BDS allotment has been cancelled, and fresh options will be considered for the final allotment.

Kerala NEET UG 2025 Option Registration Dates

Candidates can access the facility for option registration, deletion, and rearrangement for BDS courses along with option registration for MBBS courses during the following window:

  • Option entry starts: December 20, 2025
  • Last date for option entry: December 23, 2025 (11:59 PM)
  • Final MBBS/BDS allotment result: December 24, 2025

All options submitted till the deadline will be considered for the final allotment.

The CEE has clearly stated that the provisional allotment to BDS courses published on December 15, 2025 stands null and void. Candidates must re-submit their options within the revised schedule to be considered for admission.

This special stray vacancy round is meant for eligible NEET UG 2025 candidates who are seeking admission to MBBS or BDS seats under the Kerala State quota and still have not secured a seat or wish to upgrade through available vacancies.
