Madhya Pradesh Schools to Remain Closed Till August 31

Madhya Pradesh government has instructed all the government and private run schools to remain shut till August 31, 2020.

MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also added that private schools should not charge students anything other than the tuition fees. In case the parents are unable to pay the fees, the education department will not remove the student's name from the schools, under any circumstances.

Unlock 3.0 guidelines released allows the movement of people during the night and opening of Yoga Institutes and Gyms after August 5, 2020. However, schools, cinemas, and metros will still remain closed. 

Despite these leverages, the lockdown is strictly implemented in the containment zones until August 31, 2020 and schools are to remain closed till August end, amid spiking COVID-19 cases.

All the educational institutions have been conducting online learning classes not compromising on the studies of the studies. Students until class 11 are also to be promoted to next year without conducting the examinations.
