  1. Visit the official portal at bca2026.mahacet.org.
  2. Click on the candidate login link on the homepage.
  3. Enter the application ID and password to log in.

  8. Download the acknowledgement copy for future reference.

Who Can Fill the Round 2 Option Form?

Candidates whose names appear in the final merit lists released on August 3, 2026 are eligible. This covers Maharashtra State, All India, and Defence category aspirants.

Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 1 must fill the option form. Those who did not accept a Round 1 allotment can also participate in this round.

Institute Level Option Form Runs in Parallel

The State CET Cell has also opened a separate Institute Level option form window. This window runs from August 11 to September 10, 2026, for direct admissions at participating colleges.

Candidates seeking admission through the institute level route must submit that form on the same portal. It runs alongside the CAP counselling and follows its own schedule.

Why This Matters

The option form is the only way to enter Round 2 seat allotment. Candidates who miss today's deadline will lose their claim on any Round 2 seat. They will then have to depend on later CAP rounds or institute level admissions.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in to bca2026.mahacet.org without delay.
  2. Check the seat matrix and cut-off list for target colleges.
  3. Add and arrange college preferences based on merit and interest.
  4. Verify each entered choice before final submission.
  5. Confirm and lock the option form before the deadline tonight.
  6. Save and print the acknowledgement copy for records.
  7. Contact the helpline numbers if any technical issue arises.
Keep an Eye On

The State CET Cell will next release the CAP Round 2 provisional seat allotment on bca2026.mahacet.org. Candidates should track the portal for the allotment date and self-confirmation window.
