Maharashtra Board Class 12 Result Declared: 90.7 Percent Students Pass the Examination

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the result for Maharashtra HSC examination on 16 July.

The results have been declared on www.mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in and www.mahresult.nic.in.

This year, 1,413,687 students took the examination, out of which 1,281,712 students passed it, implying an overall pass percentage of 90.7. Girls fared better than boys. 596,646 out of 635,519 (93.9%) passed the examination, whereas 685,066 or 88% of boys passed the examination.

In the Science stream, 558,609 students took the test out of which 541,472 (96.9%) passed. In the Arts stream, 434,028 students took the test out of which 358,644 (82.6%) passed. 368,892 candidates from the Commerce stream took the examination, with 91.3% passing it.

The Board has its own grading system: students who score at least 75% get a distinction, while those who score 60% or above get the first division. Students who score between 45% and 59% get a second division, while those who score between 35% and 44% are deemed passed. Candidates must score 35% marks to pass the examination.

  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on the relevant link of the result.
  • Enter your roll number and mother’s name.
  • Click on ‘View Result’.
  • The result will appear on the screen.
