Maharashtra HSC Result 2020 Delayed Due to Pending Evaluation Work

Maharashtra HSC result for class 12th will not be declared today i.e June 10, 2020. The result has been delayed as the evaluation work is still pending due to the COVID-19 situation.

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has not declared when the result will be announced.

Earlier Maharashtra High Court had directed the state government to declare MSB results by June 10, 2020. The result for both SSC and HSC was supposed to be declared today.

But it seems highly unlikely that the result will be declared any time soon. Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad cited the still ongoing evaluation process as the prime reason for the delay in declaration of result.

To speed up the result declaration, the state government has decided to cancel the Geography paper and said that the students will be awarded average marks.

The official dates for declaration of SSC and HSC results 2020 are not announced by the Maharashtra Board and the state government. However as per the media reports, it is expected that there might be a delay of one month in result announcement.

Students can expect the result to be announced in July 2020. The Maharashtra government has even cancelled the final year university exams due to the coronavirus crisis.
