MP Board Class 10 Result Released on 4 July, Check at mpbse.nic.in and MPBSE Mobile App

Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education (MPBSE) Board has declared Class 10 Board Results of 2020 today, that is, July 4 (Saturday) at 12 noon, through its official website.  Surprisingly, 15 students secured 100% marks and subsequently posing as MPSE Board Toppers of 2020.

Candidates can check the result by entering board roll number and application number mentioned in their admit card. The results were declared at 12:00 PM for the senior secondary examination that was conducted from 3-27 March 2020. All the exams after March 20, 2020, were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. MP Board had earlier declared that securing a minimum of 27% in each subject will be considered a pass. 

• Around 11.5 lakh students appeared for MP Board class 10 examination 2020
• 62.84% of students successfully passed the examination which is indeed a better performance as compared to 2019’s 61.32% or 2018’s 66.54%.
• Girls outperformed boys as 65.87% girls passed compared to 60.09% boys
• Under Divyang category, 68.77% cleared MP Board Class 10 exams, thus summing up to showcase girls outscoring boys again. 
• The results for MPBSE class 10 board exam is based on the best 5 score policy. The best 5 subjects’ marks are considered for the results among a total of 6 subjects.

How to check the MP Board Class 10 result?

The results are available on the official website of MP Board. Candidates can check and download the mark sheet from the website by entering the required details. The steps to access the results and mark sheet are mentioned below:

1. Visit the official website of MPBSE.
2. On the homepage, click on ‘MP Board 10th Result 2020’
3. Enter the board roll number and application number
4. Your MPBSE Class 10 Result will appear on the screen
5. Download the result and keep a printed copy for future reference

MP Board Class 10 Result Statistics

Around 11.5 lakh candidates appeared in the senior secondary exam in which 62.84% of candidates passed successfully. 

• Neemuch district showcased the best performance as 79.13% passed in regular mode compared to a meagre 22.4% in private mode. 
• With 82.82% of pass rate, Government-run schools fared better than privately-run institutions which had 72.93% of students clearing Class 10 Board exams. 
• The pass percentage of female candidates is 65.87% and that of male candidates is 60.07%.
• Around 3.42 lakh students secured first division and 215000 students secured second division.
• Around 3000 students passed the exam with third division.         

MPBSE Class 10 Toppers 2020

• 15 students secured the first position as all have scored 100% marks in the board exam.
• The 15 toppers are Abhinav Sharma, Vedika Viswakarma, Lakshadweep Dhakad, Chatur Kumar Tripathi, Priyansh Raghuvanshi, Pawan Bhargav, Hariom Patidar, Rajnanadini Saxena, Kavita Lodhi, Muskan Malviya, Siddharth Singh Shekhawat, Karnika Mishra, Harsh Pratap Singh, Prashant Vishwakarma, Devanshi Raghuvanshi.
• Securing 99.75%, two students Sandhya Thakur and Sonal Patel emerged second rankers. 
• At 99.67%, 22 students were declared third position holders.

How to Check MP Board Result through the MPBSE App?

The MPBSE has developed a mobile application that is available on play store for android operating system only. Candidates are supposed to download the app and check the result accordingly. Steps involved in checking the result through the app are mentioned below:

1. Download the MPBSE Mobile App from Google Play Store
2. Open the app and tap on ‘ENTER’
3. In the next slide tap on ‘KNOW YOUR RESULT’
4. Enter the board roll number and application number
5. Click on ‘GET RESULT’
6. The result will be displayed on the app.

How to Check Result through SMS?

If any candidate is unable to access the internet then S/he can check the board result through SMS. The steps to check the result are as follows:

1. Type MPBSE10 <Space> Board Roll Numberand
2. Send the SMS to 56263
3. The result will be sent on the phone through SMS.

MP Board Marksheet

The mark sheet can be downloaded from the official website. The mark sheet shall be considered as provisional and it can be used for further admissions after getting attested from school authorities or any class 1 gazetted officer. The original mark sheet will be available in the concerned school around 10 days after the declaration of results. The mark sheet will contain the following information:

• Name and date of birth of the candidate
• Name of the parents
• Board roll number
• Marks secured in each subject
• Overall marks and percentage
• Qualifying status

MP Board Class 10 Result Analysis 2019

Last year, the MPBSE Class 10 examinations were given from 1 to 27 March. 1.132 million students took the examination, out of which 63.9% passed. Girls fared better than boys: 63.69% of girls passed, compared to 59.15% of boys. The merit list, however, featured 75 boys and 69 girls.

Gagan Dixit and Ayushman Tamrakar had topped the examination last year, both having scored 499 marks out of 500.
