MP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Choice Filling Begins at dme.mponline.gov.in; Check Last Date to Lock Choices

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh has opened choice filling. This is for Round 1 of Madhya Pradesh NEET UG 2026 counselling. Candidates can lock preferences at the official portal dme.mponline.gov.in. The window closes at 11:59 PM on August 18, 2026.

Only registered MP state candidates can access this stage. The provisional merit list was released on August 14, 2026. Round 1 seat allotment results will be declared on August 20.

MP NEET UG 2026 Counselling Round 1 Key Dates

Who Can Participate in Round 1 Choice Filling?

Only candidates who qualified NEET UG 2026 are eligible. They must have completed MP state counselling registration by August 13. Merit-listed candidates from the August 14 list can now fill choices.

The Round 1 process covers MBBS and BDS seats. These seats span government and private medical and dental colleges. All India Quota seats are handled separately by the Medical Counselling Committee.

How to Fill and Lock Choices at dme.mponline.gov.in?

The choice filling process is fully online this year. Candidates must complete both filling and locking before the deadline. Unlocked choices are auto-locked at the window close.

1. Visit the official DME MP portal at dme.mponline.gov.in.
2. Log in using your NEET UG 2026 roll number and password.
3. Open the Round 1 choice filling section on the dashboard.
4. Select preferred colleges and courses from the available list.
5. Arrange choices in order of preference from highest to lowest.
6. Review the full list carefully before final locking.
7. Click on lock choices and download the confirmation slip.

Documents Required at the Time of Reporting

Selected candidates must carry all originals to the allotted college. Missing documents can lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

• NEET UG 2026 scorecard and admit card
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
• Madhya Pradesh domicile certificate for state quota seats
• Category certificate for SC, ST, OBC or EWS candidates
• Government-issued photo identity proof
• Recent passport-size photographs

6. Download and save the locked choice slip for your records.
