National Institute of Animal Biotechnology is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Senior Research Fellow.

A detailed notification has been released by NIAB for the recruitment on its official website.

The application for the post is open now. Candidates who are eligible and interested can submit their forms by September 02, 2020, by 05:00 PM.

The institute is recruiting candidates for the DBT funded project with the title “To understand the role of Cytoplasmic linker protein-170 in the down-regulation of TLR4 signalling.

Candidates who are shortlisted as Senior Research Officer works under Dr Girish K Radhakrishnan, Scientist E. Under this fellowship programme, NIAB offers Rs. 35,000 per month along with 24% HRA.

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow:

For the NIAB recruitment, candidates must have a master’s degree in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology etc). Moreover, they must also be NET qualified.

Candidates with a postgraduate degree in the professional course such as MVSc, M.Tech in Life Sciences are also eligible to apply for the post.

Furthermore, candidates who have not qualified NET are also eligible for the post. However, they are advised to go through the notification before applying.

Candidates applying for the role must also have a minimum of 2 years experience in research in the fields of Biochemistry, Immunology and Molecular Biology.

The Upper age limit of the candidate must not exceed that of 35 years for general category. While for SC/ST/OBC, the maximum age limit is relaxable.
