Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 Round 1 provisional merit list is out at ug.neetrajasthan.com after document verification. Choice filling closes at 11:55 PM on August 25 and Round 1 seat allotment will be declared on August 29.
The Rajasthan Medical and Dental Counselling Board has released the Round 1 provisional merit list. It covers National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 admissions. The list is live at ug.neetrajasthan.com after full document verification.
NEET UG is India's national medical undergraduate entrance test. It is conducted every year by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Rajasthan runs its own counselling for 85 percent state quota seats.
The board has issued three separate merit lists on the portal. These include the Revised Provisional Merit List for general candidates. A Defence and Para Military category list is also live. A separate NRI merit list has been uploaded after verification.
Candidates named in the list must now lock their college choices. The choice-filling window closes on August 25, 2026. All choices will automatically lock at 11:55 PM that night. The Round 1 seat allotment result is due on August 29, 2026.

Who Is Included in the Merit List?
The revised merit list covers state quota seats in Rajasthan. It applies to government and private medical and dental colleges. Only NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates who registered for counselling appear on it.
Registered candidates must have completed document verification within the stated window. The Defence and Para Military list is for candidates belonging to that reserved category. The NRI merit list applies only to NRI quota applicants.
Candidates who missed verification cannot appear on the current list. They will not be eligible for Round 1 choice filling or seat allotment. Such candidates may participate in later rounds if permitted by the board.

How to Check the Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Merit List?
Candidates can access the merit list by following these steps:
- Visit the official website at ug.neetrajasthan.com.
- Open the Notifications tab on the homepage.
- Click the link for the Round 1 Provisional Merit List.
- Download the merit list PDF and search for your NEET UG roll number.
- Save the file for reference during choice filling.

How to Lock Choices Before the Deadline?
Choice filling is the most critical step for Round 1 seat allotment. Candidates must log in using their NEET UG roll number and password. They should list their preferred colleges and courses in order of priority.
Candidates should review each college’s fee structure before saving their choices. They should also check the category-wise seat matrix. The system will automatically lock all saved choices at 11:55 PM on August 25, 2026.
Choices not locked manually will still be treated as auto-locked. No edits will be allowed after the auto-lock deadline.

What Happens After the Round 1 Allotment?
The Round 1 seat allotment result will be published on the official counselling portal. Allotted candidates must pay the tuition fee within the specified deadline. They must then report to the allotted college with their original documents.
Failure to report within the deadline may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat. Candidates who do not receive a seat can wait for Round 2 counselling. Vacant seats will be carried forward to the upcoming rounds.

Candidates should carry the following original documents and photocopies:
- NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates
- Category certificate, if applicable
- Rajasthan domicile certificate, if applicable
- Government-issued photo ID proof
- Recent passport-size photographs
Rajasthan offers one of India's largest state quota MBBS pools. Round 1 choices decide access to the strongest colleges. Missing this window can push a candidate to later rounds with fewer top seats.
