Rajasthan Police Constable Exam 2020 Likely in July

The Rajasthan Police Constable Exam will be held in July. The examination, which is used to recruit 5,438 General Constables, Constable Drivers, Constable Bands, Constable Cavalry, and other posts, was delayed because of the lockdown that was placed due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

With the lockdown now being removed in a phased manner, the date of the examination may be announced soon.

The notification for the Rajasthan Police Constable Exam was released on the official website of Rajasthan Police on 4 December 2019. In the notification, the office of the Director-General of Police had called for applications in order to fill more than 5,000 vacancies. Registrations took place online between December 2019 and February 2020.

The written test will be the first stage of the recruitment process. The test is worth 150 marks and contains questions from a wide range of subjects, including logical reasoning, computer literacy, general knowledge, current affairs, History, Geography, and Culture and Arts of Rajasthan. To qualify, a candidate must score 40% marks. For SC and ST candidates, 36% marks will suffice.

The test will be followed by a Physical Efficiency Test, a Physical Standard Test, and a Proficiency Test for drivers, and band, mounted, and dog squads).
