A new innovative system called ‘Prabandh’ was introduced by the Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal on Friday.
The Prabandh System has been introduced to help the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) Scheme in becoming more meticulous and transparent. SSA is a school education scheme introduced by the central government.
Ramesh Pokhriyal pointed out that the Prabandh System will facilitate online submission of budgets, annual plans, and will make it easier to track funds. He also stated the Prabandh will help implement the integrated scheme into the SSA.
The SSA Scheme will also help promote social equality and opportunity by eliminating gender inequality and social differences. The scheme has an objective to bridge gaps between socioeconomic and gender-based differences by making the system more transparent.
Students from underprivileged backgrounds will be given equal opportunities to have access to the best quality of education just like others. This scheme is aimed at efficiently reducing illiteracy and having productive outcomes.
The Minister also mentioned the importance of inclusion and equity all across the board when it comes to something as vital as education.
