Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced that a portal has been created to provide information regarding the job vacancies in the government and private sectors.
The portal is an initiative by the government to help common people in the state following the COVID-19 crisis. There are a number of measures announced by the government on June 26, 2020, to help the industrialists and common people in the state to recover from the COVID-19 crisis.
Chief Minister Sawant said, "A portal has been launched to allow notifications of job vacancies by the private establishment, government departments, educational institutes, and autonomous bodies, for the registered job seekers."
He further added, "The employment exchange has so far recommended the names of qualified job seekers to 19 private companies through this portal."
The portal is meant for those who have registered their names with the employment exchange in the state.
