The authorities will conduct the Tamil Nadu Engineering final year exams again for the students who missed the exams due to various issues. Read the full article to know more about the same.
Tamil Nadu engineering Final year exams were held from September 24 to 29. The officials conducted the exam online due to which more than 20,000 students missed their exams.

The supplementary session of the engineering exams for final year students will be conducted from November 17 to 21, 2020 in Tamil Nadu. More than 20,000 students who missed the exams in the first session due to technical issues can appear again in the second session.
Around 1.5 lac students appeared for the online exams while around 10,000 students were unable to complete the exams due to technical issues. Students reported several glitches in their exams. They listed connectivity woes, login issues, page loading troubles, and no proper arrangements. More than 10,000 students were marked absent.
The plea to re-conduct the examination was taken to Tamil Nadu State Disaster Management Authority. TNSDMA has permitted the university to conduct the supplementary exams for the students.

The supplementary exams will be of 60 minutes each. The exams will be held online. Students will be asked to answer 30 out of 40 questions.

No changes are made in the final result pattern. The first session and the supplementary session both carry the same marks.
