TN Engineering Final Year Supplementary Exams 2020 to be held from November 17-21; Check Time Table Here

TN Engineering Final Year Supplementary Exams will be conducted later this month. Students who could not appear for the exams conducted earlier will appear for Final Year supplementary exams. 

According to the official reports, over 21,000 students will appear for the TN Engineering Final Year Supplementary Exams 2020 to be held from November 17, 2020, to November 21, 2020. 

The students who could not appear for the exams conducted earlier include absentees and students who faced technical glitches.

TN Engineering Final Year Exams

The final year engineering exams were held earlier for about 1.5 lakh students from September 24, 2020, to September 29, 2020, through online mode. 

Following the approval from the State Disaster Management Authority, the institute informed the students that TN Engineering Final Year Supplementary Exams will be conducted online for all University Departments and degree programs from November 17, 2020. 

The official statement also stated that candidates who could not appear for the exams held earlier because of internet connectivity issues, disruption of power supply, and absentees are allowed to appear for the supplementary exams.

TN Engineering Final Year Supplementary Exams: Exam Pattern

The time duration for TN Engineering Final Year Supplementary Exams 2020 would be of 60 minutes. 

The online tests will carry only 30% weightage, 50% weightage for pre-final semester exams, and 20% weightage is provided to internal exams conducted by the university. 

Students will be given more choices as they need to answer 30 out of 40 questions. 

There are no announcements for candidates whose results are put on hold because of malpractices during the exam. 

Regarding the matter, the officials said that the committee inquiries are being made, and a final decision will be taken after going through the evidence found.
