The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Chennai has released the Tamil Nadu NEET 2025 Round 5 Special Stray Vacancy Counselling Schedule for admission to the BDS degree course in Tamil Nadu Government Dental Colleges, Government & Management Quota seats in Self-Financing Dental Colleges at (tnmedicalselection.net).
The registration Choice filling & locking will start from December 12, 2025 (10 AM) to December 15, 2025 (3 PM). The processing of seat allotment will be on December 15, 2025, and the result will be declared on December 16, 2025.
Candidates can download the provisional allotment order from December 16, 2025, to December 20, 2025, till 3 PM. The last date for reporting is December 20, 2025, by 5:00 PM.

The eligible candidates who are not holding any MBBS/BDS seats in the All India Quota and State Quota are only eligible to participate in this online counselling. Candidates who have already joined any MBBS/BDS seats in All India Quota and State Quota (Either Govt. Quota/Management Quota/NRI Quota) are not eligible to participate in this round of counselling.
The candidates who did not join their seats allotted through Tamil Nadu State Counselling Round-3 / Stray Round are “Not Eligible” to participate in this counselling.

The candidates must pay an additional security deposit of INR 2 Lakhs for the BDS course to participate in this Special Stray Round I via the online Bank payment portal, which is non-refundable in case the candidate, after allotment, does not join the course.
