The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana, has released the Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) 2026 internal sliding round allotment result. The result is live on the official counselling portal, tgpolycet.nic.in. Candidates can log in with their credentials to view the allotment order.

The internal sliding round is the final stage of TS POLYCET 2026 counselling. It lets already reported candidates shift branches within the same allotted college. Vacant seats left after the final phase are filled through this round. The last date to report at the allotted college is July 1, 2026.

How to Check the TS POLYCET 2026 Internal Sliding Allotment Result?

The allotment order is available only in candidate login. Students should follow the steps listed below to download it.

Visit the official portal at tgpolycet.nic.in.
Click on the Candidate Login link on the home page.
Enter your POLYCET hall ticket number, date of birth, and password.
Submit the details to open your candidate dashboard.
Click on the internal sliding allotment order to view it.
Download the order and save a printout for reporting.

Who Is Eligible for the Internal Sliding Round?

Only a specific set of candidates could take part in the internal sliding round. Eligibility for viewing an allotment now depends on the earlier participation of the candidate.

The candidate must have received a seat in the final phase of counselling.
The candidate must have reported at the allotted college after that phase.
The candidate must have exercised fresh options during the internal sliding window.
Candidates who did not report earlier are not covered under this round.

How to Report to the Allotted College?

Candidates who receive a new branch through internal sliding must confirm the seat on time. Reporting is a physical process at the allotted polytechnic institution.

Take a printout of the internal sliding allotment order.
Carry all original certificates and the previous reporting slip.
Reach the allotted college on or before July 1, 2026.
Submit the documents at the admission desk of the institution.
Collect the updated admission slip against the revised branch.

Failure to report by the last date will make the internal sliding allotment invalid. In such a case, the earlier seat allotment continues as the final admission.

What Happens If a Candidate Skips Reporting?

Skipping the reporting step cancels only the new branch allotment. The original seat allotted in the final phase remains valid. Candidates who are happy with the original branch can simply ignore the internal sliding order.

Why Internal Sliding Matters

Internal sliding gives a second chance to students already inside a polytechnic. A candidate can move to a more preferred branch without changing the college. It is the only route to switch a branch after the final phase closes.
