University Grants Commission (UGC) has sought advice from all the Higher Education Institutions on implementing the National Education Policy 2020.
On 29 July 2020: The Government of India passed the National Education Policy for which various Stakeholders are waiting for the conclusion to implement the plan.
A portal has been developed, MyGov where Higher Education Institutions and the stakeholders are asked to share their proposals and feedback to UGC.
As stated in the NEP 2020, UGC has started to consult and implement the plan regarding the norms and institutions relevant to it.

Indian Government is conducting a Virtual Summit on Artificial Intelligence for the purpose of Social Empowerment (RAISE 2020). The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the Summit on 5 October 2020.
The Summit will be held for 4 days, i.e 5th - 9th October 2020. All the institutions have been asked to circulate the information on the upcoming summit and encourage the faculty and students to participate in it.
University Grants Commission has also instructed the Educational Institutions on creating a safe environment and equal treatment for both the Genders inside their campus.
Following the horrific series of crimes and unfortunate events in Uttar Pradesh, UGC has clearly mentioned in the Letter to ensure swift implementation of the ‘Guidelines for Gender Champions in Educational Institutions”
