UGMAC Stray Round 2026 Registration Deadline Extended at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in; Check Revised Schedule

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has extended the registration and choice filling deadline for the Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026 Stray Vacancy Round. The revised schedule has been issued through advisory number BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/16 on the official website at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

Eligible candidates can now submit fresh applications and edit application details till October 24, 2026 up to 10 PM. The application fee can be paid till 11:59 PM on the same date. The earlier closing date for registration was October 21, 2026.

The Stray Vacancy Round is the final counselling phase under UGMAC 2026. It covers the remaining seats in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses across government and private colleges in Bihar.

UGMAC 2026 Stray Round Revised Schedule

The board has shifted every subsequent event in the counselling calendar by a few days. The updated timeline is given below.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

The Stray Vacancy Round is open to candidates who qualified NEET UG 2026 and hold a valid Bihar state domicile. Candidates who were allotted a seat in an earlier UGMAC round but did not join may also apply, subject to the board’s rules on resignation and non-reporting.

Candidates who have already secured and taken admission against an allotted seat in Round 3 are generally barred from participating. Students must read the eligibility clauses in the official notice before applying.

Courses and Seats on Offer

The Stray Round aims to fill vacant seats left after the regular rounds. The courses on offer include:

• MBBS in government and private medical colleges
• BDS in government and private dental colleges
• BAMS in Ayurveda colleges
• BHMS in Homeopathy colleges
• BUMS in Unani colleges

How to Apply for the UGMAC 2026 Stray Round?

Candidates must complete the process online through the official portal. The main steps are listed below.

1. Visit bceceboard.bihar.gov.in and open the UGMAC 2026 section.
2. Click on the Stray Vacancy Round registration link.
3. Log in with the NEET UG 2026 roll number and password.
4. Fill the application form and upload the required documents.
5. Pay the counselling fee online before 11:59 PM on October 24, 2026.
6. Submit the form and keep a printout for future reference.

Payment can be made through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI. Candidates must save the fee transaction receipt until admission is confirmed.

How to Lock Choices for the Stray Round?

Choice filling and locking will take place on October 25, 2026. Candidates must log in with their rank card credentials and select colleges and courses in order of preference. Unlocked choices will be locked automatically at the end of the day.

Students are advised to list only those colleges where they are ready to report for admission. Once a seat is allotted in the Stray Round, resignation is not permitted as per board rules.
