As per the latest update of the UPMSP, i.e. The UP Board published a detailed academic calendar for the 2020-21 year period.
Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Paris plans to start online classes for all students from August 18, 2020 onwards.
Taking into account the prevailing situation, schools across the state would remain closed until further notice, and therefore classes for UP Board Schools 2020 would be held online through Swayam Prabha's and 'Doordarshan Uttar Pradesh' channels.
The Board plans to release a detailed class-wise and subject-wise timetable for online classes soon, and students would be required to attend their classes accordingly.

UPMSP Academic Calendar 2020 – Important Dates
According to the revised academic calendar 2020-21 published by UPMSP, the Board plans to hold online classes for UP Board students from 18 August 2020 onwards.
In addition, the Board also adopted a continuous assessment policy under which monthly exams would be held for all students in the last week of each month.

School Principals To Ensure Students Attend Online Classes
As part of the new academic calendar, the Board proposed to hold online classes until further notice in line with the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of now, the central or state governments have not issued any specific guidelines for the re-opening of schools for in-person classes.
Online classes are therefore likely to continue for a considerable period of time. In such circumstances, it is the responsibility of the State Board to ensure that students attend the online classes at the principals of the respective schools in which the students are registered.
In addition, students were asked to download their books from the 'Diksha' portal as a PDF file.
