Uttarakhand Sanskrit Education Board examination to start from 20 July

The Uttarakhand Sanskrit Education Board has decided to hold its board examinations from 20 to 23 July. The secretary of the Board released an order on 11 July stating that the examination would take place in two shifts. While most of the education boards have either postponed or cancelled examinations due to coronavirus, the Uttarakhand Sanskrit Board will hold the the examination observing social distancing norms.

The examination will be given across 59 centres. These centre will be sanitized two days before the examination begins. Earlier, the Uttarakhand Board had held the remaining examinations of classes 10 and 12 from 20 June.

The UBSE Education Secretary held a video conference with the district officials and decided the dates of the examination. The heavy rain that occurs in the state after the end of June was taken into consideration.

Students will have to undergo thermal screening before entering the examination hall. They also must carry sanitizers and wear masks during the examination.

As of now, no official announcement has been made of the UBSE class 10 and class 12 board examination 2020 results. However, it appears that the answer sheets will be evaluated in all by 15 July 2020.

The Directorate of Sanksrit Education and Sanskrit Education Council in Uttarakhand has been set up with a view to promoting Sanskrit education in the state.
