WB NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Counselling Registration Deadline Extended; Check Revised Schedule

The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has extended the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 Round 1 counselling registration window on its official portal at wbmcc.nic.in. Candidates can now complete registration and fee payment up to August 23, 2026.

The extension follows the earlier deadline of August 16, 2026. WBMCC has also issued a revised stage-wise schedule for Round 1. The counselling covers MBBS and BDS seats under State Quota, Private Management Quota, and NRI Quota in West Bengal.

WB NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Revised Schedule

The revised schedule pushes back all subsequent Round 1 counselling activities. Candidates should track each stage on the official WBMCC portal.

Choice filling reopens for fresh registrants. Already-registered candidates can also edit their choices during the extended window.

Registration Fee and Eligibility

Only candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 and hold West Bengal domicile can register. Aspirants must have valid NEET UG 2026 roll number and application details ready.

The non-refundable registration fee is Rs 2,000 for General, EWS, and OBC candidates. Reserved category candidates pay a lower fee as specified in the WBMCC information bulletin. Payment is accepted online through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.

Applicants shortlisted for Private and NRI quota seats must also deposit the applicable security amount as mentioned in the official bulletin.

How to Register for WB NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Counselling?

Fresh candidates can complete the registration process by following these steps before August 23, 2026:

1. Visit the official portal at wbmcc.nic.in.
2. Click on the WB UG Medical and Dental 2026 registration link.
3. Enter NEET UG 2026 roll number, application number, and personal details.
4. Create a password and note the WBMCC registration number.
5. Pay the non-refundable registration fee online.
6. Fill and lock college and course choices before the deadline.

Candidates must carry original documents and self-attested copies at the allotted college. Missing documents may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

6. Track the seat allotment result and report at the allotted college on time.
