I'm not entirely certain about the current state of Dr B R Ambedkar Medical College, but I've heard positive things about it. Back in 2010, it wasn't recognized, but that might have changed since then. Remember, all medical schools have their merits because real learning happens when you're dealing with patients. The college just helps you learn how to do that properly. Wishing you all the best in your future!

Thinking about doing MBBS, huh? Let me share what I've learned from my friends about Dr. B R Ambedkar Medical College.

First off, here are some good things. This college is pretty old and has a solid reputation for its faculty and infrastructure. The professors are really qualified, and the overall atmosphere is decent.

Now, let's talk about some not-so-great stuff. Even though it's an older institution, it wasn't recognized until around 2012. It's a private college, and honestly, its ranking in Bangalore isn't great; it's almost at the bottom. This means it's not one of the top choices in the city.

Regarding the faculty, they're quite skilled, but sometimes the students can be a bit distracting, which might affect your focus on studies. If you're vegetarian, you might find the area a bit uncomfortable because there are butcher shops nearby, even though the campus itself is quite nice.

About fees, no college here will charge you just 3–4 lakh per year, so be prepared to spend a good amount. At this college, the fees depend on your NEET rank. A better rank means lower fees, while a poorer rank will cost you more annually.

In the end, it's your call. Best of luck with your future!

My experience at Dr. B R Ambedkar Medical College for the Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] has been quite positive. The curriculum is relevant, and I appreciate the focus on practical learning. The campus life is lively, with events and social groups that help us connect with each other.

However, I do believe that there could be more industrial exposure in the curriculum. But overall, I think it’s a decent place to study and grow.

First off, Dr. B R Ambedkar Medical College is considered among the leading private colleges in Bangalore. However, it's worth noting that students with pretty low scores, sometimes between 140–200, also get admitted here. This happens because there's quite a bit of what folks call "dhandlagiri" going on. Despite this, the academic environment is solid, and your success really hinges on your own efforts and the peers you surround yourself with. Just a tip: try not to get too caught up in the Bangalore lifestyle!

I chose Dr. B R Ambedkar Medical College for my Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] because of its affordable fees structure. For OBC students, it’s just 415 rs, which is really manageable. The faculty members are friendly and approachable, and they help with any doubts we have. The college also offers various opportunities for internships, which is a plus for us in terms of practical experience. I feel like the college is doing a good job in supporting students academically and socially.
