Remarks

Nothing at all our college has a well trained discipline cell and takes strict action for disobedience and punctuality is must in our college so every students are obeying it and teachers are also very supportive

Course Curriculum Overview

As a commerce student after doing plus to two main degree study is bcom and bba and i choose bba it means bachelor of business administration and the course fee for this course is 9000rs per semester and as a degree there is 6 semesters and thus 54000

Placement Experience

There are many job interviews taking place in our college every year and students which are having well quality is taken for that and our third language in our college is german so many germany oriented companies are also coming for placements

College Events

There are many events taking place in our campus from beginning to ending our college is rich programmes such as college elections,association day,college day,onam and Christmas celebrations and our management fest conducted by commerce department

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is varying in every course our college totally have 9 departments and fees is only for self financing department and the fee structure is feasible and not so high and there are some pg courses which has fees and they have fees according to their course

Yeah our college has scholarship programs for students those who has good marks and low financial stability at their home and our college provides scholarships for them and scholarships are given to many students according various criteria

Campus Life

As mentioned above our college is rich with extracurricular activities our sports team has a greater name among colleges whereever they go they will come back only after winning it and of course they are getting good training from our coach

Hostel Facilities

Of course iam a hostler our college provides hostel with good infrastructure with good food and fair conditions and the hostel is a good one provides quality food and ragging free at a small rate with good study environment

Yes our college has a100 year old tradition so every students passed out from here has only good things to tell about our college when they share their experiences it paves the way for comming generations to do good things and know well about our college

Admission process was through online all students who passed plus2 are eligible to do online registration in Calicut university online admission process by going in to Calicut university online site and applying the course we need

Faculty

Our college has well experienced faculties because it is one the major known college in calicut because it has a large numbers of students in it so a well experienced and well educated teachers are only hired

My Experience at the university

Likes

I personally loved the campus environment, it's in the complete hilly area. We have very clean hostel facilities for both girls and boys separately. Gym facility is also there. Boys and girls ratio is 6:4
The acadmic staff is too good, there're quite friendly and supportive, they also teach very well, regular internals and assignments are given. The class room is also spacious, no uncomfort.
The matrons (non academic staff) are also so friendly, we have help desk for any related queries, the best quality of this university is they listen to what students want and need, if it is needed they'll surely make the change.

Dislikes

As I'm a non malayali in kerala university, I felt little uncomfortable at start, as most of the staff members and students are communicating in Malayalam.
Apart from gym, we really don't have a great facilities for physical activities, there is one ground but it's not in a good condition. Not every faculty is so good, few teachers will not teach in english they use their mother tounge.
Basically the university is still under construction, that's why we frequently get disturbed by the construction noice.

Placement Experience:

Since I'm in the 1st semester, i really don't have a great idea about the placements but as far as I know Chinmaya Vishwa vidyapeeth university has their dedicated training, placement and corporate relations center. The highest package was 7 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average package might be 4 LPA. Nike, mastek are the few companies who came to recruit After completing my degree, i might go for a job and then complete my PG.

One thing to mention is the cleanliness of the college which is absolutely something we have to appreciate! The bathrooms and the classrooms are always clean and well sanitized
Similarly the hostel bathroom bedrooms and the corridors are also spotless.
the faculty members are amazing..they teach with dedication especially prajith sir who deals with business statistic and logic in bba first sem

Dislikes

When we join this college they told us there would be buggy services for out transportion to the gate to hostel incase if we wanted to go outside or anywhere but in reality there is no such services..when we request it security always deny.
Securities always deny and dont not consider our request for buggy they always makes the excuse that the higher authorities would scold them and all
The hostel food is trash.some days like sunday dinner and wednesday dinner are absolutely flavorless and bland we often does not eat on thoses days and we sleep on a empty stomach.

Course Curriculum Overview:

soem subjects i feel very unnecessary are IKS and SANSKIRT..even so collectively speaking nobody understands the reason why they are being asked to learn iks(Indian knowledge system).and for sanskirt we could argue its a language and learning it would be some consideration a skillset but even though if that is the case we mustn't force somebody to learn it.it should be a choice

My College Experience : The Ups and Downs

Likes

There teacher's positive and friendly behaviour is very good.
this college providing college bus. and final year students are travelling without fee.
In this college, studentrs can interact all persons. Becouse this college is staying in a village.

Dislikes

In this college there no canteen facility.So students are want to go outside stores
The Private bus are not on time. Similarly, the raiway gate will be closed for half an hour due to the passing of the train.
library is not open every days and collection of books is very poor.

This college is one of the biggest, oldest, famous colleges in Calicut. It's NAAC accredited college and it is famous for its remarkable alumini also. The eligibility for different courses is different and there is a cutoff mark that is required to get admission for each course. There is no specific exam for getting admission here.
