Remarks

Dont come here until and unless u have no options left. You can go to various good colleges for the same fees. This college is affiliated with Bangalore University which itself is rubbish in the matter of syllabus and exam dates.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Outdated, the Bangalore university syllabus is so many years behind. We are following the 2011 or 2015 syllabus in 2019. A lengthy portion just to memorise it and vomit it in the exam. No practical implementation.

Internships Opportunities

No, it just makes fake promises. Very few decent placements as suggested by PGDM and MBA seniors. Almost negligible placements for Bba. And even if there are maybe 10 or so people, they aren't good at all.

Placement Experience

0.5

Very few decent placements as suggested by Pgdm and Mba seniors. Almost negligible placements for BBA. And even if there are maybe 10 or so people, they aren't good at all. So I'd say very poor placements.

College Events

0.5

Kanyathon- unnecessary students are forced to pay money out of their pocket because the college wants to organise an event but doesn't want to spend a dime out of its pocket. Rest all events are either uninteresting or a waste of time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive when compared to the quality of education. Not decent when compared to 1,20,000 fees for BBA and the quality is the same which I would have got in any college of West Bengal Kolkata for saying one-third of the fees here. I could have gone to a very good college with the same fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

No such facility ever provided. College is doing business here. Its focus is on earning money not giving education. It has various schemes in which u can pay more money and get 1 or 2 facilities more like Bba Profession and all. But I may say ITS BULLSHIT.

Campus Life

2

Rubbish. 2 sports day in a year. Otherwise 1 cricket match in 3 months that too overcrowded and 1 volleyball match. That's it. That's everything Activities, labs sports all included. The finance lab is good but only 20 seats for BBA students. BCA students have good labs.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Old hostel timings are pathetic. The location is pathetic. No public transportation facilities from the hostel. Only limited bus timings which get completely filled because the buses are too small for everyone to accommodate and the warden wants to save money by less number of trips by the bus. Food is not at all good. Electricity and water issues all the time.

Alumni/Alumna

They are friendly. The faculty is good and helps when needed. Seniors are good. They mind their own business and don't disturb. A healthy non-violent environment with a peaceful campus. All good. No issues on the campus with anyone. But the campus is too small. The online image shows the college in such a way that there is a huge campus and so many buildings and lots of space. But in reality, there are 2 buildings and an amphitheatre. That's it. Extra small campus I must say.

Exam Structure

Exam dates are chosen by Bangalore University. It changes the dates anytime and every time. One can't book tickets to go home because the exam timetable is altered so many times. Lengthy syllabus. You dont get marks for content. U get marks for writing big answers even if its material is all bullshit. Exam taking is pretty fair. But what's the point of it if there are so many other demerits.

Admission

Skype Interview and submission of 10th std board marks and 12th std pass certificate. An essay topic was given and 20 minutes were given to write on it. Then it was scanned and mailed to the mam who was taking the interview. She evaluated it and then told me that I had been selected.

Faculty

3

Some faculty are good, some just give a lecture. People are not able to concentrate because they can't even speak proper English and they can't make people pay attention. They speak grammatically incorrect English and therefore people don't pay attention in their class and just try to while away time somehow.

Placement Experience:

I have not yet attended any of the placement scenario, so I cannot say much about the placements. I also do not know correctly about the percentage of students placed. There are various companies that come to our campus for interviews. There are around 40-50 companies that are welcomed. Some of them are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCL, HP, and so on. The average package can roughly be like Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum.

12th marks + interview round performance. They do not have an entrance test. Agragami has 180 seats for BBA. You have to directly approach the college with your documents to take admission.
