Remarks

The best college ever, your marks are not even considered for the admission to this college The admission is that much liberal.they gave a better idea about the performance of each and every student in this institution.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It's not a satisfactory one according to me the change has to be made by earlier and the change should be made in accordance with the change in the trend. there is a large amount of objection about the university exam valuation

Placement Experience

3.5

College look forward about the placement opportunities and also they gave more importantance for the people who are needed more attention. In these cases college take a better look on their interest and also they make more attention about them.

College Events

3.5

Like every other colleges we also celebrate different events. The one of the most recognised event is our tech fest these are having a major role in making our college a more dominant than other institutions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In our college there is only having usuall fees there is no donation fees or anything from the students who takes merit admissions in our college so these are well different from the other colleges in our same locality

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes our college gives scholarship for students who got good mark in their academics and they beneficial support students who are backward in the case of money problems. So they gave a better attention about their background.

Campus Life

Yes we have a wonderful and highly developed football ground with immense facilities.talking about laboratories.we have the best machinery with latest equipments and technology which are being guided by the best professionals that helps us in acquiring best knowledge regarding each subject.

Hostel Facilities

Iam also a hosteller.so I know in detail about these rooms in our college.our college hostel has clean rooms and good food we didn't have a complaint about our food or cleanness.they are all good and also give a good atmosphere.

External Expense: Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are really helpful and supportive type. They have been guiding us through all the difficulties and helping us to improve overselves. They have been highly active in all kinds of activities which has given us more inspiration as juniors. We are just overwhelmed to be a part of this institution.

Admission

By merit list and also through a entrance exam regarding about the knowledge in science subjects like maths and physics. The mainly concerned about the performance percentage.they publish the results.accoding to the ranking admissions are made

Faculty

They are good and having helping mentality.they are always reachable and any time of the need. They are always make sure that we get something more from them and also something can our attitude and also some change in perspective

The campus is well maintained and is clean
Teachers are willing to give individual attention if needed

Dislikes

Lack of campus life as college is strict
Majority of the staff members are the type to hold a grudge against you
Spoon feeding students and not allowing them to think and improvise accordingly

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from semester 6 onwards. But campus placement for civil engineering is fairly low. But companies like Aarbee Structures Pvt Ltd has offered jobs for my mates

All the teachers are well qualified and equipped to teach but the quality of teaching differs as per individual.

Dislikes

The say of students in matters concerning them or others is nil. We have very little say as the management takes all decisons.
Teachers have ego and superiority issues between themselves which might affect the children in 4th year, project phases.
Fests, events and functions are not upto any expectations.Schools in trivandrum have better events than our college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan, infosys, commandtech, bimlabs, gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.

My review about RIET

I gave three options during my optional registration process. First is my current college and other is vkct and govt college attingal. But the first allotment I got admission at my current college so I took here as because of good reviews and food facilities. I enquired about the other colleges in my locality and my neighbouring places I got very good reviews. I think this college has more development and provides more intership programs IVs and more companies for placements comparing with other colleges. Our college supports startups and gave financial support for startups if needed But this is not in other colleges This is why I chose this college for my BTech degree. The admission process is very simple. The exams accepted here are KEAM and the JEE mains or advanced....Read More
