Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course was for a period of 3 years holding a full-time graduation degree. The course is an undergraduate course and deals with the study of Visual or Performing Arts. The course is also known as Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA) and has subjects like sculpture, photography, painting, animation etc.

Placement Experience

3

The institution offers placement opportunities for the interested candidates in fields like art studios, manufacturing, graphic arts, publishing houses, advertising companies, product designing etc with good stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee depends on the college as the fees is different in each college. The course fee of my institution ranges from INR 3000 to INR 200000 PA. It is not as expensive as I thought it would be after seeing it's co-curricular activities and events.

Campus Life

3.5

The institution provides seminars for their students. The festivals presents dance forms like Bharat Natyam, Kathak, Kudiyattam, Odissi, Manipuri etc. The performers wear proper traditional costumes while presenting their dance forms to help students know their traditions and rituals through a dance performance.

Admission

I got admission by doing just a few steps to get admission in this center. I got admission in this college by filling the online application form available on the website of the institution. The organization verifies your (10+2) examination after calling you at the center.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is very helpful and has a bunch of professionals. The teachers are very practical with their understanding and has a lot of knowledge to give to their students. They always welcome students who have some kind of confusion after the class.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The relevance and organization of the curriculum were excellent. there was also a strong nemphasisi on practical experiance and contact with industry. The students were prepared for future employment. The examinations at the end of each semester were of a modereate nature, but further introducing current tools or case studies would improve student learning considerably

Course Curriculum Overview:

They still expect students to do everything handwork. But students need to work digitally as after college they have to work on softwares at the job. College doesn't teach how to use these softwares. They ask you to do shitty assignments that are of no use when you actually work.

Overall I really liked the entire experience and teaching. But they could improve in terms of being more on par with industry trends. Also, the college needs to increase seats since there is a lot of demand and few colleges in the city.
