Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is satisfactory. They cover old fundamentals as well as incorporate the new developments in the filed. In addition to knowledge about private and residential interiors they also puts focus on environmental impact on interiors. Softwares like AutoCAD and 3DsMax too are introduced to us in the course. We are also taken on field trips where we get to mingle with the industry and professionals and acquire practical knowledge.
Placement Experience
The placement cell is quite active. We are given training through discussions, aptitude tests, skill develooment sessions, personality development, seminars and workshops. Huge number of students of ACDS have got placed in the past with great salary packages. Infosys, asian paints, HCL, infotech are some of our placement recruiters. The highest package was of 30K.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course has a duration of 3 years amd the fee amounts to an average of 1.75 lacs. It is an affordable amount and considering the facilities and training from experts we receive here its not a big amount. We have big studios, amphitheatre and a library with access to numerous journals and titles. We also have many cultural events arranged from time to time that provides us a platform to showcase our talents.
Campus Life
Cuktural activities and sports are given much importance at the institute. Many fests, training sessions and workshops area arranged where we get to mingle with students of same tastes. We also get to meet professionals from all over the world and learn from them.
Admission
The applications are received online. The admissions usually begin at the monthe of April. The qualification requires is to have passed +2. The selection is done on the basis of academic performance. I chose ACDS as I found that in addition to deaigning they also focus on developing other necessary skills like presentation skills for instance, which I found very much useful and something necessary in this age.
Faculty
We've got a bunch of immensely qualified and creative teachers.They ensure a consistent evaluation of our work and impart necessay guidance. Innovative ideas are much encouraged at the institute. Professors Mehmood Khan and Gauri Argade are my favorites. They are immensely knowledgeable and also knows to share it with us in ways feasible for the majority.
