None only the food in the hostel mess should be improved.
It s relevant the exams the major the minor and practical all are good and were interesting and make me love my stream more. The knowledge which I get from studying all those subjects and applying them in my day to day life is really amazing and those exams really test my knowledge.
There was not much company on our campus and only a few I remember one of the companies was a ceasefire. The internship was good I did my internship in DLW Varanasi which is diesel locomotives work it manufacturers rail engine it was really amazing experience.
Atharva was the main event and there were other events as well in my college there were also many groups whose fields were different the group which I was part of it was Kadam it's a social group which promotes conservation of the environment and helping poor people.
The fee structure was good but though it could be changed or make less so that more people can afford education. The scholarship program was not much easy and government scholarship was not provided to us as well but still for a middle-class family it was accessible.
Yes, I availed a loan from Punjab National Bank and I availed a student education loan we took a loan of around 400000 th rate of interest was very high in education loans for a country whose literacy rate is so low.
Yes, I choose to stay in a hostel which was an all-around experience facility were amazing the hostel was very clean and tidy and all the necessary support was provided by the hostel faculties. The gym was also there.
The Alumni network was good we are still in touch with many of our alumni they were very motivating and always help us and guide us to get our goal.
I got admission on merit bases and the reason I choose this course because technical fields always attract my interest and I love to get depth knowledge of all these things how they work and everything. Especially the automobile sector interests me more.
Faculty was not much good because the way they teach us in the classroom can be more interactive and can be more fun and instead of theories they should focus on more practical examples and more practical knowledge so that each topic would be more clear in our mind.
Students are eligible to take part in a college placement drive during their 3rd year in the UG degree. From what I've heard, the placement committee is good, and the companies offering placement are the top companies in India including the top auditing firms like Infosys, HCL, WIPRO, etc.
Students have to complete an internship program in their area of specialization during the 7th semester. All the students after their 6th semester become eligible for campus placements. The placements offered are very good. Companies like Infosys , Wipro, HCL, IBM, Amazon, etc. depending on the course studied. At the end it depends on the capability of the student.
In my 3rd year or can say during the 5th and 6th semester I started appearing in campus placements. Now, the name of the companies visited our college were Naukri.com, TCI, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, Amazon, Trade India, Genpact.
Students are eligible from the penultimate semester for placements. Accenture and Wipro were bulk recruiters with 1000+ offers, pay package was 3.5 lakh PA The biggest pay was from a Japanese company, only 2 offers made at 32 lakh PA
I chose MNNIT Allahabad as it is one of the best engineering colleges in north India. Moreover, it has great coding culture and placement statistics. The institute is 60+ years old and thus has a great alumni base, to take guidance from. Plus, it was the first college in India to start a Computer Science and Engineering branch. The admission process takes place through JoSAA after giving Jee Mains exam. I read various blogs on quora for comparing my own college with other IITs and NITs and came to the conclusion that I will choose MNNIT.
Our college is quite well known for campus placements and average as well as highest package is very good. Companies visiting for software development are very good including Microsoft, Amazon, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Myntra, Flipkart, Codenation, etc. More than 90% of the students get placed (in software field) every year and the rest opt for higher studies or civil services or entrepreneurship. I want to go for corporate job after getting my B.Tech degree.
Placements are been offered from the 6th semester. Many companies are visiting in college. The whole year companies are coming and offering jobs to students. Average package is about 4 lakhs per annum and the highest is more than 8-10 lakhs. Percentage required is just 60%. After getting the degree I have planned for the job. Ist I will go for govt jobs than private.
