BCA in Techno India, Hooghly Review

Techno India is well-reputed in Hooghly, West Bengal, and also it provides a budget-friendly well-disciplined education environment. It has three campuses and all are affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. The admission process is very easy and there is a very easy entranced named MAKAUT CET for admission. Admission can be completed with CET results and caution money. I only apply for this college to complete BCA cause this college provides the best faculties at very low fees. For this thing, I choose the college.

The course curriculum is very updated and easy to learn because our teachers provide is self-made notes and we don't have to buy any books. We also get many webinars and hackathons to be more industry-ready. On our salt lake campus, there are many clubs. Most of the faculties did masters in their fields. Some of them even have two masters and also Ph.D. Teachers provide lectures and then give us daily notes and take monthly test exams to be more exam-ready. Exams are held in semesters and there is 4 internals in every semester.

We get a 4 months industry training before our campusing programme. Many companies like Accenture, Webel, PwC, and many local Kolkata based IT firms came to our college for hiring. Highest salary package in 2019 is 6 LPA and average package is about 2 to 3 LPA. If you compare with fees this placements are pretty decent. More than 75 % students get placed. After this degree I will do MCA in a good university.

There is no fees hike policy but as per previous year students and passed outs I listened there is very tight fees rules. The cost of the study is about 2 lacs including sports, library, festivals, extra curricular activities fees. We get many NGO and private financial assistance along with all central and state-district level scholarships. There is no campus jobs but college provide fees reduction for meritorious students from 2nd semesters.

There are various tech fests and many hackathons happen monthly in Techno India. All new books and stories & magazines available in our library. The library is fully airconditioned. The classrooms are very neat and clean with big blackboards. In the winter season, our college organizes many sports like football, cricket, lawn, and table tennis. We also did many social works and tree plantations for our MAR points.
