Everything about BA ( English) in patliputra university

I applied for BA (English) at Patna university too but didn't get admitted in that college because I couldn't able to come on the merit list. However, patliputra university was my first priority. I belong to the OBC category, so i got relaxation in marks. The admission criteria were simple, I had to appear for online councelling done by the college authority. My name appeared on the first merit list. The minimum mark required in admission is 72% . The age limit is 24 to apply for an English (BA) course. The admission process is simple, you have to appear in the college with all your documents of class 12 and transfer certificate after your name appears in the merit list.

I am interested in English subject and hope for higher studies in english honours. Faculty at the campus are so experienced and talented. Students are given full freedom to ask subject related questions to the professors. The student teacher ratio is almost 30:1 in English section . Teaching method of most of the faculty is in regional language that makes it best for the students to understand. Almost each teachers at the campus are PHD holders. The only backdrop of the university is that exams do not happens at their accurate time. We have mid semester and final semester exams at the campus. The exams are easy to be passed even if you study moderately.

The fees of the university is around 5000 per semester for three years. That totals to be around 15000 for three years. The fees hike is likely negligible, it's around 1000-2000 per year. The scholarship provided by the college is in accordance with the cheif minister post matric scholarship. However, the university do not provide any campus placements to it's students.

There is no annual fest celebrated in the university. The university has its own big library where thousands of books on different subject matters are kept for the students. The classroom is filled with fans, lights, bench, and desks In the name of activities, cricket is played by the students. No social groups are available for the students to gather.
