I have applied for 2-3 diploma colleges and many other courses in Gujarat, but I'm belonging to General criteria so in the first round I got admission to Government Polytechnic Ambavadi, Ahmedabad for an electrical branch. One of my friends also recommend this college so, I have taken admission to this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculties of our college are very kind and helpful to all students and they teach us very well. They are also supportive of us at the final exam time. Faculties are well qualified and their teaching method is quite interesting. We have only one term exam and one final exam every semester, those are not much difficult to pass but to score it is.
Placement Experience
Many students are going for degree engIneering so there is not much competition for placements. As far as I know, our college has an average package of around 20-25k per month salary in CTC. And the percentage of students getting placements doesn't matter for those who want to do degree engineering.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study per semester is very low in subject to private colleges. A fee of exams per semester is around 2k per month and other expenses go around 1k per semester so total fees per year can be calculated around 6-7k per year. You can also afford the tuition for 1-2 subjects and that will not cost too much but it will be beneficial for academics. Scholarship from Gujarat Government [Digital Gujarat] Scholarship is paid to all students and that is around 3-4k per year.
Campus Life
We have a huge library on our college campus and all books are free for students. Journals and some research papers are also there. Not many social groups are there which run by students and for sports & extra curricular activities a student have to contact professors on campus.
