Pruthula's Review On SRJ College For Women, Bangalore

I got a seat in this college based on my 12th scores and opted for BBM course.

Only HDFC bank with the internship opportunity and there was no stipend offered. Instead they collected money from students for the purpose of offering internships.

Students will not have to worry much about jobs after graduation as they have few reputed companies visiting for the campus placement. The faculty also put in efforts for the purpose of providing jobs to their students.

SJRCW has always been a special place as it holds all those memories of running early to sports practises,hurrying up for classes,learning stuff in new and innovating way,all the fun cultural college fests have given me a totally new experience all in all i will always remember SJRCW as my place of Zen. Been there done that.

The fee structure is feasible for the people and majority of the students opt for this college only for this sake. The expenses are also not much compared to other colleges offering the same courses.

For SC, ST and OBC the college offers various incentives and scholarship schemes and are very attractive and helpful.

Brilliant campus and faculty. A college that caters to an holistic development of self and contributes back to the society. Got a lot of good friends knowledge and skills. The lecturers are the God sent ones who not only teach the subjects but also the life. Known for sports and cultural activities. Creating the citizens for the welfare of society.

The food quality and taste is poor though. The mess menu changes very little and even those changes are minute. Even if the menu changes a bit the taste almost never changes. Usually at home dishes are tweaked quite a bit and the menu is never a fixed weekly pattern. Also, comparing with "mommy's food" is stupid. The reason you like that food so much is because you have grown up with it. And there is no way to substitute that. The food produced in the mess has to be done while incurring as low a cost as possible. This directly leads to compromises on the quality of the ingredients used. Students are quick to whine about food but are equally hostile to attempts at any real change. If the cooks try to make anything different for the first time it is possible that it won't taste very well but the key is to be supportive and constructive.

Senior students are very helpful and guide you at every point. The are more like your own sisters are really awesome. With the beginning of the new academic year college freshers make their move towards a new start college life. To break the ice, it's the senior students are taking the initiative to welcome and make them feel comfortable. What's important is to build the fresher senior rapport it's always good to start off in a friendly environment. Gone are the days when the first day of college began with the fear of being ragged.

A bit old fashioned in the administrative tasks not much digitization Adaptation of technology is bare minimal. Administrative lapses makes students bit uncomfortable. But some the faculties are very experienced and posses lot of experience in teaching field.
