Remarks

Overall good but must be improved in food section in a hostel and the main thing I love my college with good laboratory condition and supporting Teachers and the main thing is it is the best place for making your career in pharmacy.

Course Curriculum Overview

In 2018 I first visit my college with zero knowledge of pharmacy or pharmacist technology at the end of my 4-year journey I know a lot of things about pharmacy with the help of my respected teacher and teaching staff and my classmate (56 number of classmates).

Class Size: 57Course Fees: INR 88600 per year

Placement Experience

After the 7th sem, our students got placed in companies. Various companies like Nestle, acculife, Himalaya, etc. The average package range will be 2.50- 3.5 LPA. Many numbers of students are placed. My plan after getting a degree in to Postgraduate.

Fees and Financial Aid

I gladly said that the number of semester fees is pretty much less than other pharmaceutical colleges in West Bengal. Our college provides minority scholarships and Swami Vivekananda's scholarship of West Bengal to help needy students.

Campus Life

I have spent the best Life on my campus. It's not my dream campus but it has something which attracts most of us and we have lots of sports on the college ground. We have lots of Book and reference books and reference journals related to the pharmacy in our library.

Students who are allready completed the 7th semester are eligible for campus placement drive. There are many companies are visited for interview and placement offers. Alkem, Sun Pharma, Alembic, Torrent, Glenmark and other companies are came for interview. The package are mainly around 1.8-2.6 LPa in average. forty percent students are prepared themselves for interview and others are looking for higher education and others are prepared for other services.

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.

By WBJEE or AIEEE exam you have got a rank for admission in this college.There are 3 concealing process by the wbjee rank card. Then you have to varify your document in reporting centre , after that you go to the college for the admission.
