Remarks

There is some eligibility or percentage and 11th, 12th subjects in some courses. There is an official website of medicaps university for all the information. No everything is fine they allowed online admissions as well as offline.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose mca cource because i want to be a software developer and in indore, Medi-Caps University is one of the best college for computer science field. The faculty ratio is quite impressive bcz there is no lack of faculties more the 500 facilties are there. Mostly faculties are PhD or they are pursuing PhD. There teaching method is also good. They are available every time we need them There are 2 mid sem in between the semester and one end sem exam with quizzes and assignments twice a month. University exams are good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are so many companies who offers internships. There are summer internships as well as winter break. There are minor and major projects including industrial experience which are both compulsory for everyone.

Placement Experience

4.5

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is quite normal according to the Cource. The fees hike policies are dependent upon every years of experience. There are Saveral scholarships for everyone although I didn't get any bcz of some reason.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is so alive. They conducted many social jams in college with the help of different social clubs. Moonstone is the annual fest held in every March. Every book is available in library. Classes are well maintained. So many sports opportunity here.

Hostel Facilities

There are AC, induction in each floor, well maintained water cooler and ro supply. They provide 3 proper meals lunch and dinner and breakfast with evening tea and snack. The food quality is so good. Registration process us so easy you just have to come in hostel and fill the form. And fees is genuine according to the facilities.

Average college with no placements and exposure

Likes

I like infrastructure of the campus... infrastructure are very beautiful.
Library. I like library facilities college provide and we can take book from there.
Canteen not..much but I likes this average

Dislikes

Placement their is no placement or limit placement only 2-3LPA
Bus Facility their Very poor bus facilities
Labs their labs computer are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

My life in Oriental university

Likes

I liked the overall campus environment of the university . The campus is quite large ,clean and has good infrastructure.
The labs in college in are well equipped especially for computer science student . some system have configuration like 16 gb ram .
the faculty member are supportive and helpful. teachers are always ready to guide student , clear doubts and personal situation whenever needed

Dislikes

the quality of mess food is average and sometimes not up to expections. There are limited option and some food combination not liked by students
There are single water cooler in available , which sometimes create problem for both boys and girls.
we are sometimes fined for low attendance ,bunking class or even sitting in the canteen during lecture hours

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is decent but not exceptionsal. it covers the basic and important subject required for the course so you dont get a good theoritical understanding. However some parts of the syllabus feel outdated and fully aligned with current industry requirments. the course had a good mix of course subjects and some practical components on paper which looked promising at the time of admission. The overall structure seemed relevent for building foundational knowledge.

Honest review on Academics and Campus Life in Medicaps University

I was also selected in vit bhopal but due to some personal reasons I was not able to take it . But I think medicaps is a better option than vit vellore as the location is well connected to the main city and proximity to majority of facilities which is not available in vit. Also as a day scholar it was easy to reach here because of good bus facility by university. Admission process is very simple in MU, you can apply directly by visiting the campus admission cell and completing some formalities. The selection criteria is simple and can get computer science easily if you have 75% or above in boards. There is no as such strict counselling process to get admission . You can also appear in MUSAT exam to get admission but I didn't appear in it....Read More
