Entrance Preview

The interested candidates should have appeared for any management entrance exam like cat, cmat, xat, gmat, mat, snap etc. The candidates who are appearing for the final year of the bachelor's degree or are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. There is no work experience required to apply for MBA course. However, if the student has work experience, it will be an added advantage which will increase the chances of getting selected.

Course Curriculum Overview

The program is a complete process of class room teaching, case study analysis, simulations, modeling, scenarios, analysis of industry etc. The program lays the foundation of analytical and logical reasoning and gives students the basic understanding and insights of the dynamics of the business environment / management. The course revolves around the principals and concepts of business leaders / manages that are not just produced casually but nurtured and developed with the care and attention in small groups and application oriented, practical oriented, user-friendly environment.

The college / business school encourages students to have active participation in annual functions, conferences and competition that helps in building the excellent skills in a student, skills like leadership and management skills which will be both beneficial for all the students of the college. The students are given awards and recognition for performing and managing these events perfectly.

Campus Life

The campus has the classrooms with air conditioners and they are designed with the sole reason and sole purpose of inculcating positive learning environment that is important for all the aspiring leaders / managers with corporate specific excellence. Class rooms are very distinctive, imaginative and innovative which gives the perfect environment for learning. All lectures are conducted in these classrooms equipped with all the facilities.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities of the college are very safe and sound. The cafeteria / canteen has fresh food with good taste and good hygiene. The college also provides the gym and health club facilities to all the students to develop a perfect mind, body and soul. The gym provides the students the ample opportunity to become stress free and work on toning their bodies and by exercising and working towards the great health.

over all the collage is good

I like every thing like teacher , mentors

Dislikes

I did not like ahmedabad dranage system because of that we facing of water problem in rainy season

Placement Experience:

All the student are placed in a collage the placement percentage is 100% . more than 100+ companyes are come for placement soo that all the student are plced and get ther dream job for working proffesion . After summer internship program the company are start coming for a placement

A great start to my PGDM journey

Likes

I like the friendly and comfortable environment. Here you can interact with students and others
Faculty members are supportive They give us opportunities to interact and ask questions during sessions.
I like the campus and the activities conducted for students They give us opportunities to learn Outside regular classes

Dislikes

One thing that needs to be approved as waterlogging during rainy season because water gets collected around the campus and it gets difficult for the students to move around comfortably, specially for hostel students
Sometimes the schedule can get tiring back-to-back classes in sessions
I feel there should be more space for students in campus during breaks. They can go sit and learn their.

The curriculum is relevant to management and covers different areas that are useful for a PGDM student. It includes classroom learning along with practical activities. it is useful for understanding real world concepts. so far, I find the course structure Interesting and helpful

Great Learning Experience with good placement

The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. the campus environment is positive, with good infrastructure, industry exposure, regular guest lectures, and helpful placement assistance.

Placement Experience:

the college has a good placment cell and provides training through apititude tests, mock interview, and soft skill sessions. many reputed companies visit the campuse. Studensts become eligible for placement in the final, and the overall placement supporte is helpful for career growth.

Industry Oriented Learning at SBS

Likes

there is a faculty is very supportive and always ready to guide students academically
the curriculum is practical and includes case studies , presentations those help me developing real world business skill
placement cell also provides training and support for internship and final placements

Dislikes

college sports facilities are less also the monsoon season some we are face some of problems

The Campus features excellent modern facilties.

Dislikes

The campus is located far from central ahmedabad along the SP Ring road.
In Monsoon season very difficult to reach at college

The faculty members are helpful and explain the topics in a simple and practical way.

Dislikes

The academic schedule is sometimes very busy, which gives students less free time.
There are many assignments and presentations, which can become difficult to manage sometimes.
Some campus facilities can be improved further to make student life more comfortable.

The palcement oppotunities Many companies visit the campus and offer jobs area like marketing, finance, HR and sales. The college also provide palcements training, interview prepration and guideance to students. The salary package depends on the comapny, job role and student performance.

Companies like nestle, kellogs, tcs, hdfc bank and adani etc visit the campus for placements. Students become eligible form the final year and the college provides good placements support and training, recently 12 students placed in finance with aprx 11 -12 lpa

Likes

the fee structure of the mba is very less compared to the other colleges
good classmates because people come from cmat and topppes only get admission
placements are good if you are satisfied with 6/7 lakhs a year

Dislikes

infrastructure of the campus is very poor
the faculties are average except one two, more from a teaching bg rather than corporate experience.
for me the average package is less, and some people also left by getting placed

Placement Experience:

good placements, avg is 6.5/7 ctc and in hand avg goes arounf 5 lpa, highest 17 lpa, lowest 4 lpa, median should be around 5 lpa, this is as per my batch(batch 23-25) it is similar in other batches and 80/90% students get placed easily if they are good and the placement cordinator also try to get the rest placed where the batch have achieves 100% almost every year. there are options after college if you dont get placement from college because it is core mba with subjects marketing finance and hr.

I took admission based on the NBSAT exam which is the entrance test for the college. It is a proctored-based exam comprising of 4 subjects like the pattern we have in CAT. The questions are logically based and easy to crack if any student possesses basic knowledge about the subjects. If we clear the exams, we get to appear for GD which consists of a facilitator and a group of 10-12 students. The topics are general awareness-based and after clearing GD, we have a PI round which comprises basic questions about how much we are clear about ourselves and the course too. It is basically to judge our confidence level while speaking and knowing the thought process of any student. The forms are available on the official website of the college.
