How my bachelors in forensic science was

This course was more fascinating to me as it included almost every subject like biology, chemistry, cyber, psychology, and so on. It was more interesting to study a different subject than usual. The faculties in the college were cooperative and supportive and the students had the freedom to ask and express their doubts so it was not that bad. The main teachers had many years of experience and had their own idea of teaching even though some were new to the field they tried their best in providing us with the knowledge. As teachers were changing almost every 2 years it can be seen that the portions were a bit lagging in the start but in the end, everything was completed. Exams were not as difficult as most of the questions were expected ones.

As I was from the forensic science stream I had two internships one short-term and one long-term internship. Short term was for two months and long-term for 3 to 4 months. The main head of our department had his own lab so we did it there but if you want to do it outside the college will provide you necessary documents. We did project work during the final semester.

The annual fee is 70000. Unlike other institutions, the fees are affordable as we can complete our bachelor's with accommodation and food for Just 3 lakh 80 thousand. The hostel is within the campus so no need to spend an extra penny on transport. I got no scholarships.

As I was covid batch we didn't have many celebrations but once it was over we had Maitreya which is a big fest that happens every three years. As it happens every three years it was quite memorable as it was fun and big celebrations and bands came for the event. The Library didn't have that much of book collections but still, they had enough to support the learning. The campus had sports competitions and all with a variety of fields.

The hostel facility was moderate and there were two blocks one with attached bathrooms and the other block with common bathrooms. The rooms were spacious enough for four members. The hostel is within the campus so it was easy to go to college. They had within-campus restaurants so you can buy from there if you don't want to eat hostel food.

The eligibility for applying to the course was a minimum of 50% passing marks in the science stream having biology, physics, and chemistry as the main subjects in the 12th class. I got admission through my coordinators but now you can apply online as the college has its online portal for admission purposes.
