Likes

question paper style of the Gtu as it does can every 3-4 years
Not so good experience in everything but can help you in growing your own skills

Dislikes

infrastructure of the college is too bad to describe
Faculty of this university are not so helpful to students basically they are also not upgrated with the technology

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is exceptionally good but the study is not upgrated up to latest technology it is rather old and does not relate to today's technology and faculty is not very bright as they should we have to grow based on our own skills.

Placement Experience

From 5th-6th semester we are eligible of placements. we have job fest where large companies comes and select students some of the companies that visited us are TATA, LNT,etc. The highest package they offered was 2,40,000 per year as it is a diploma corse most of them are going to pursue degree so percentage of students getting placemets are to low.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a government college fees is not much rather than college fees is less than 1000 per year but the exam fees is not included in it we have to pay it externally and there are many scholarship available in first year like pragati scholarship,etc and the placements are good for like many large companies comes to college like TATA, LNT and for placements we can have help from some specific techers which may help to get a job

Campus Life

AS it is a government college we can't expect much from it. It does not have any culb or not so good infrastructure yeah but there is availabilty of library, classsroom, sports week in winter, tech fest, annual fest, etc

Admission

The admission process was easy as it was online process.I didn't took any entrance exam it was total based on 10th marks of 3 subject(english ,science ,maths) and then we get merit rank based on our merit mark of this three subjects. As for the cut off was 219 for computer engineering.In application process we have to go through acpc website fill our profile and registration then upload the necessary document and it will be verified from the officer and pay registration fees. then the merit list comes and then we have to fill our choice in choice filling section of our wish and then it if we get admission we have to pay to confirm the seat.

I'll must say, the faculty is skilled. They are expert in what they teach

Dislikes

It's about where we study. So, I'm studying Automation & Robotics, a new course launched. And so we don't have our own branch building. That's why we are studying at textile department along with some other new branches that were launched.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 6th sem, we'll get the offer for campus placement. Atleast 20 companies would come for the best candidates. I plan to pursue this course only, for Bachelors in Degree. I would try scoring top in ddcet in order to get a seat in the government LD college

VALUE FOR MONEY college.

Placement Experience:

Their is one seprate department for Placement section. In the last sem of your course they will come and help you if you want to do job after your course and they will take token money and give it back to you after you have get a placement.

The highly skilled & supportive faculty at AV Parekh Technical Institute is one of it's key strengths. The faculty member are not only polite but are always ready to assist students
Placement opportunities : the placement cell is another strong point of the institute . After completing a diploma , students can be secure for job offers with package range of average ₹2 to ₹3 lakh per Year .
Lab Facility : The institute is equipped with excellent laboratory facility . Student have access facilities. They have high - end PCs for practical work .

Dislikes

NA , There is no other things to dislikes but there is not other activity like sports and gym khana

Placement Experience:

There is placement opportunities in our college but it's very rare like the placement ratio is 20% (Maximum) per department ???? there is no more placement. Cleverly students can get the placement in some local companies. And in other way we can see that after diplo students get hier for higher study (degree)

The campus is wonderful and enjoyable there are many campus activities and spots where you can click photos
There are maps on many corners of the campus soo that you don't get lost due tho the big campus they offer
They have EV vehicals and golf carts for the faculty and people who come tho visit the college

Dislikes

Some institutes washrooms are not that clean and not very usable
There is not much bad about parul apart from some facilities are rude

Placement Experience:

Yes there and many placement that take place in my college There are many high paying placements too which I have saw personally The minimum people got was 5lpa and the highest is ig 50lpa and that was very good Even in ranking parul comes before some IIT colleges which I saw on internet Google meta facebook and many more companies visit our college for recruitment From the 6th semester students are eligible My plans are to get a good job or higher studies after my diploma

Likes

My college campus is very big and beautiful
Faculties are also very helpful and informative
College staff's nature is also good and helpful to everyone

Dislikes

In my college no canteen inside the campus so we have to go outside the college
Sometimes lectures are not conducting because of the less students
Some Senior's behaviour is not good for juniors

Placement Experience:

Placement is done at the 5th and 6th semester of diploma at last year. We can also apply for part time job or full time. Internship are also available for the last year. And also we have to complete one project on any topic in which we have to do something.

I am rate my Computer engineering course is 4.5 stars. My college renk is 3rd in overall in Gujarat. A.v. Parekh tecnical institute is best in my rajkot city for diploma computer engineering course. The college is established in 1947. There many things that can prove A.V.P.T.I. is the best for diploma.

UPL University is a gem

Likes

College campus is small but has one of the finest canteens in colleges among our areas.
Building is newly built and so are our labs, hence they are well equipped.
College has quite a few sporting facilities too.

Dislikes

Students are not from highly educated background as some students are from Gujarati medium too.

Placement Experience:

Placements are the best part of our college as nearly 70% of the students are hired by UPL itself and apart from that Ankleshwar is the industrial heart of Asia and therefore no problem with placements. Students who just pass also get placements and that's the best part of our university.

In Placement Term There a Thing That Electric department and Mechanical Department Has Much Better Placement rather than Computer Civil and EC Department So If you are Looking For Placement In Computer So You Can Directly Do That In Degree After Diploma i am Currently In Degree Because No Placement drive in our Department and Specially In Our Computer 2021 Batch

There are so many colleges, But the better one is who gives you the 100% Placements

They gives us 100% Placement. When I meet the college Principal
The main things is that there are less competitor
The college area is looks good and beautiful

Dislikes

When you have a backlog. If you gave re- test the paper style looks like too much hard to see
In hostel, The rules were broken by students. And the warden can't take any action
You have to take care to yourself from the bullying by your college classmates not by the seniors.

Placement Experience:

1. If you are in the 6th semester you become eligible for campus placements. And those year there are several types of companies to Higher the Diploma in Plastic Mould Technology (DPMT) Students. Company name Adani Wilmar, Maruti Suzuki and some small companies. 2. There are three courses are available in stream (DPMT, DPT, PGD-PPT). If you choose DPMT course. Then the maximum pakages is gone ?300,000. If you choose DPT course. Then the maximum pakages is gone ?500,000. If you choose PGD-PPT course. Then the maximum pakages is gone ?1000,000. 3. In Thrice the maximum percentages that yo need atleast 70% to get the mentioned pakages. But still this college gives us 100% Placements. That means if your percentage is lower than 70% you are eligible for the Placement but minimum percentage you need atleast 50% and all backlog have been cleared by yourself. Then you are getting upto but less than the as mentioned pakages. 4. My plan after getting the degree I can JOIN directly to B.E.

UPL University is value for money!

Placements definitely and also the course as they are designed as per the real world demands.

Dislikes

Campus size is just too small and that is biggest drawback.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as UPL is the top recruiter of our college. They recruits nearly 80% of the students and therefore students don't have to worry about placements at all. Apart from UPL, companies like Laxmi Organics, Surya Organics, Sun Pharma and others also hires students from our college.
