Our canteen is very short and they are not able to provide meal whole students at a time .

I have a passion for this course. I like to know about medicine. Our faculty members are very good and they are very careful. They have vast knowledge of their subject. To be a teacher you must have Mpharm degree.

Class Size: 400Course Fees: INR 96000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The full course fees is 3 lac 96000 rupees . We have to pay 96000 per year. I got a Swamivivekananda scholarship which provide me 60000 rupees per year . After completing this course you can get a job in marketing department and industry .

Campus Life

Our college has conducted a national seminar on November month named Healthcare: A Global Transformation from traditional to modern era .our college have a moderate size library . They provide us various books.

Admission

You must be from a science background. Then you have to attend an entrance exam which is conducted by Wbjee. The form fee is 500 rupees. There are no reservation benefits. There is no required any improvement.

My college BCDA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY AND TECHNOLOGY is a very reputable and good college for education and placement. Students who are allready completed the 7th semester are eligible for campus placement drive. There are many companies are visited for interview and placement offers. Alkem, Sun Pharma, Alembic, Torrent, Glenmark and other companies are came for interview. The package are mainly around 1.8-2.6 LPa in average. forty percent students are prepared themselves for interview and others are looking for higher education and others are prepared for other services.

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.

By WBJEE or AIEEE exam you have got a rank for admission in this college.There are 3 concealing process by the wbjee rank card. Then you have to varify your document in reporting centre , after that you go to the college for the admission.
