The curriculum is quite challenging. 5 years of this course certainly makes the students tough enough to manage everything from exams to clinics and patients. The frequency of exams is like any other in the first 2 years, while after a student starts at the clinics, the frequency of exams increases significantly. The staff being approachable, helps students throughout the year with any and every query regarding exams and exam related topics.

After passing final year BDS, students join the internship program at the college OPD itself. Interns get a chance to assist and even perform complex procedures and learn a lot from their professors and experiences.

The tuition fees is 2,81,000 which seems appropriate for a private dental college in comparison to other colleges in the country. If you're a student belonging to a reserved caste, you can claim up to 100% scholarship by the Gujarat State Government. Students residing in DNH and DD can claim scholarship upto 50% too.

Almost all the festivals are celebrated at our college. Hindus being a majority, more of Hindu festivals are celebrated here. Garba and Ganesh Chaturthi are celebrated with great joy. Other than studies, there is a lot to enjoy in this college. The annual sports and cultural events let students show and practice their sportsmanship as well as leadership skills. Cricketers even get a chance to inter-college tournaments.

The Hostels, especially girls hostels are like any other. The rooms are quite spacious and the best part is that every room comes with a washroom so nobody has to worry about common bathroom facilities. There is housekeeping staff available at the hostel everyday and the warden is quite friendly too.

NEET qualification is a must for admission to any dental college. The admission procedure here is quite easy and involves 1-2 visits. All you have to do is meet with the counselor at the college and fill in the admission form.

The faculty to student ratio seems perfect to me, making atleast 1 faculty available always to resolve queries and answer questions. Most of the BDS staff is a passout from the same college, hence share experiences and help others learn from their experiences. The professors are very qualified and experienced and hence are able to teach students regarding all aspects of life, other than just dentistry.
