Remarks

SKIPS is a college which is very good for corporate studies. College have a very good rules and regulations. All students must have to follow them. Every details of students provide to their parents also.

Course Curriculum Overview

A college which provides Dual specialisation with degree..The course PGDM is a gate which opens all the opportunity for me in every sector of corporate world.. coming to exam pattern they are taking various exams to evaluate the student's growth.

Placement Experience

The college provides 100% placements to every students. There are very popular companies which are coming every year and select many students from the college. The MNC's which have a blind trust on college's performance. Also college got award for it's best placement.

College Events

College organise many kind of events for student's development like SHRIJAN, SAMVEDNA, NEWS PAPER ANALYSIS, LIVE PROJECT, INDOOR SPORTS, OUTDOOR SPORTS, BLOOD DONATION CAMP, RAMZAT, GUESTS LECTURES ETC..

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are very reliable for the students. The college provides very much compare to fees amount. They never thought that it's expensive for them so they don't have to organise ..no they never thought that. But they also try to do best for their students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides loan facility also. In which you don't have to worry about fees. College also accept money in instalments and you can also give fees in cash, in cheque, and using direct transfer from bank.

Campus Life

The college has a huge lab where the 120 students can work at a time. Computers with proper facilities. There are two type of sports events. One is indoor sports and other one is outdoor sports..For indoor sports they use infrastructure of college and for outdoor sports they are using grounds.

Alumni/Alumna

College learn us that how to helpful to others. So if we talk about alumni of us, they are very helpful to us. They provide us very proper guidance. They also give suggestions for studies. They also enjoy every events together. They never behave that that they are seniors..They all are with very friendly nature.

Admission

There is the system of APTITUDE test & Personal Interview where you have to clear APTITUDE first which I was cleared then There was an extempore in which they have provided some topics and I have to speak on that.. after at last they have taken interview of mine...and they were selected me with my skills of good communication and politeness.

Faculty

Faculties who are very supportive in nature and very talented in knowledge. All the facilities are graduated very high qualified education. The faculties are also connected with different well known organisation like SEBI & they are the one who are also support to improve the performance of every students.

I did not like ahmedabad dranage system because of that we facing of water problem in rainy season

All the student are placed in a collage the placement percentage is 100% . more than 100+ companyes are come for placement soo that all the student are plced and get ther dream job for working proffesion . After summer internship program the company are start coming for a placement

bussiness driven acedemics they teach exel, ppt, managerial behavior
mentor session every week in this they focus on student's personal growth

Dislikes

area like this based in shale ahmedabad where little rain can stop or affect the transportation

im persuing the colledge not get placed yet our seniour placements started and 30% palcements are done in their 3rd samister and every after 2-3 days someone comes from seniour to give the sweet for their celebartion on placement

Likes

Strong emphasis on real-world, practical applications over just theory.
The daily class timetable is well structured and very student friendly.
Many Clubs for Sports, and Extra Curricular activities.

Dislikes

The on campus drainage system is poor, leading to waterlogging during rains.
The mess lacks experienced cooks to properly preaire non-Gujrati food for students from other staters.
Location is far from city, so significant travel just for basics.

Placement Experience:

Placements of SBS are Good In terms of Long Term Exposure in the Industry. Students become Eligible for Campuse Placements after 5 Semester in SBS. Since I have recently Joined the SBS List of Companies Visted and No of offers they have made are unknown to me.

A great start to my PGDM journey

Likes

I like the friendly and comfortable environment. Here you can interact with students and others
Faculty members are supportive They give us opportunities to interact and ask questions during sessions.
I like the campus and the activities conducted for students They give us opportunities to learn Outside regular classes

Dislikes

One thing that needs to be approved as waterlogging during rainy season because water gets collected around the campus and it gets difficult for the students to move around comfortably, specially for hostel students
Sometimes the schedule can get tiring back-to-back classes in sessions
I feel there should be more space for students in campus during breaks. They can go sit and learn their.

The curriculum is relevant to management and covers different areas that are useful for a PGDM student. It includes classroom learning along with practical activities. it is useful for understanding real world concepts. so far, I find the course structure Interesting and helpful

there is a faculty is very supportive and always ready to guide students academically
the curriculum is practical and includes case studies , presentations those help me developing real world business skill
placement cell also provides training and support for internship and final placements

Dislikes

college sports facilities are less also the monsoon season some we are face some of problems

Dislikes

The campus is located far from central ahmedabad along the SP Ring road.
In Monsoon season very difficult to reach at college

The faculty members are helpful and explain the topics in a simple and practical way.
The campus environment is good, with useful facilities and a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The academic schedule is sometimes very busy, which gives students less free time.
There are many assignments and presentations, which can become difficult to manage sometimes.
Some campus facilities can be improved further to make student life more comfortable.

The palcement oppotunities Many companies visit the campus and offer jobs area like marketing, finance, HR and sales. The college also provide palcements training, interview prepration and guideance to students. The salary package depends on the comapny, job role and student performance.

Good Internship Opportunities and a dedicated supervision from Institute as well as the Company

Criteria for Application - 3 Year Graduation Degree with Minimum 50% marks from UGC recognized University, Valid Score Card of CAT/ XAT/ MAT /CMAT /ATMA /GMAT or state-level selection test. Upon fulfillment of the above, I got a date for GD & PI and was given topics for GD beforehand. On the day of GD & PI, we were being addressed by the faculty members of SKIPS in respect to Institute's intro and details. Then we were taken to SKIPS Tour making us familiar with the campus, classroom, computer room, library, canteen area, etc. By late noon, the GD and PI were over.
