College review

This course, bsc nursing is very common these days because of the job opportunities and money. This is the same reason for me to take this course and also I like biology subject so I thought it will be easier for me to study nursing. But actually it's very different. We need to work really hard in this field. It's very hard to study. We need to focus more on studying other than anything. I just got into the college. It's been only 2 months so we are only having weakly tests now. And the tests are ok. Most of the students get passed.

We are offered a hospital for duty. I don't know about the internship process of our college. Maybe they will notify us later I think. We'll get projects and duty in 2 year and we need to work in hospitals without getting paid

My year wise fee is like for first year, my fee is 261000 and the rest 3 year fee is 190000. The tuition fee, registration fee and other fees include in this but we have to extra money for uniform, hospital placement like that. I applied for a student loan but it didn't get granded yet. My total fee for studying nursing is 825000. I'm coming from a middle class family and making this much amount is pretty hard. College is not really good but it's fine.

I don't know more about the festivals now because I just joined the college 2 months ago. But I heard that we're getting 4 programs in 1 year. The library is good and we're having books we need. Our classroom is not really good but also not really bad.

We're having 3 shared room in the hostel. There are 3 bed, 3 table and 3 chair and a shelf containing 3 lockers. Not so spacious but it's fine. Meal quality is ok and we're getting different food everyday. There's a timetable for the food.

I applied for lbs first but it need very good mark like above 95%. Here I only got 75% and I knew it I won't get admission from lbs. So I applied for bsc nursing in Mangalore. First Athena college of nursing science and then nanjappa college of nursing science shimoga. All these college was ok but th fee was so much. Then one of the friend of my father's friend suggested an agent and got admission in Nethaji institute of nursing science college Mangalore. The eligibility for the college is we need to write kea exam and need to do other procedures in the website of kea. I passed the exam and got admission

The faculty student relationship is ok. Some of the faculty members make sure to clear our doubts but some of them don't. We are having weakly tests and it will help us to study more and it's very helpful. Most of the students get passed in the exam

There's no nightlife for us. The college time is 4:30 pm and then when we get in to hostel, we can go to the junction that is near to the hostel. We need to get inside the hostel before 6 pm and there is a small shop infront of the hostel. We can buy things from there before 9 pm. The hostel gate will be closed at 9 pm. We're having our food mess inside the hostel. I don't if it's safe to roam around at night because we can't go out at night.
