Remarks

The college is currently under infrastructure maintanence , makeover and faces political turmoil and clashes often between students political parties. The faculty although qualified are less interested in guiding student's for participating in events.

Course Curriculum Overview

The 5 year LL.B course is a amalgamation of Law and BBA. In the first two years the basics of law and business administration are taught in hand. Important substanative law subjects are taught from third year onwards. The course equips one to go through different plethora of topics in law and management. This provided students with hands own knowledge to deal both legal and management issues with ease and make them competitive for the real world.

Placement Experience

Current there is no placement cell functioning in the college. Students usually opt for litigation or Post Graduate studies after graduation. The need for an placement cell is actively under discussion. The college doesn't provide any internship , but 10 month internship period is mandatory for the completion of the course. Depending upon the place , the student is enrolled as a intern , stipend may vary from none to INR 5000 per month. Usually students opt for social - public service internship and aren't paid any stipend.

Freshers Day - Welcoming the incoming batch , Art Day - Intra College Art & Literary fest , Sports Day - Intra College Sports Meet , NOMIKOS POLEMOS - Inter College Law Fest , National Law Seminars , Batch Day for the Graduating Classes , Republic Day , Independence Day , Onam Celebration , College Union Election , National Moot Court Competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The per year fee for 5 Year LL.B course is INR 2400. This includes tuition and other miscellaneous expenses (hostel not included). The examination fee for per semester is approximately INR 600. Student's belonging to SC/ST/OBC receives 100% fee waiver.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college directly does not offer any scholarship. Students usually apply for scholarship provided by govt or other entities by securing permission from the college. Merit Cum Means , Maulana Azad Scholarship , CH Mohammed Koya Scholarship etc are a few to name.

Campus Life

The college have a moot court and functioning moot society which hosts intra college and national moot court competitions. The arts and sports competition are annually held under the banner of Students Union. The students also represent college in various competition outside the state and district.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel offers room (non bath attached) on twin sharing basis. The hostel rent is approximately INR 1400 per month. Breakfast , Lunch and Dinner are served daily in the college mess. The college mess serves both Veg & Non Veg food and are run by students on rolling basis.

Alumni/Alumna

Currently a lot of the college Alumni are employed in various prestigious positions in the judiciary , clearkship , corporate law and law firms around the globe. The alumni are spread across the globe and have went to embark the GLCK name in the legal diaspora with there active participation in delivering justice and enduring peace.

Admission

Attended KLEE - Kerala Law Entrance Examination conducted by CEE Kerala (Govt entity). The exam consists of 200 MCQ with questions from English , General Knowledge and Legal sphere. Each correct answer shall receive +3 and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. A total of 180 minutes are provided for the examination. The application fee for the examination is INR 500 and is to be paid ONLINE only. There are 4 Government Colleges in Kerala accepting admission via KLEE and a total of 332 seats are available in this category. Various private college in the state also accepts KLEE score for admission.

Faculty

The college faculty are all Post Graduated holders possessing National Eligibility Test certification. There are Doctoral faculty too teaching important subjects. The faculties are well experienced with teaching experience spanning for an average of 5 years and are helpful in moulding the incoming teenagers to fruitful lawyers of tomorrow with their guidance and mentoring.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are not conducted timely. There is a big delay in exam conducting. Also, there is some delay due to the widespread of covid 19. Exams are easy to pass if we study well. There are so many books in the library which help us to prepare for the exams.

Admission:

Actually I don't have an intent to join the law course, but with family members aspect I joined the 5 years LLB course. I did attended the Entrance exam and cleared it with good marks so that I got government law college nearer to my native itself.

Admission:

Like every student I wrote the entrance exam to get a seat from 50 seats allocated in government college. Because of my hard work I got this seat in college along with my school friends. There won't be any donation and interview process, the allotment card is the key to enter into the college.

Admission:

I passed my 12th exam with good marks and appeared the entrance exam AILET. After the results of the exam was published, I got shortlisted to take admission in the college. Moreover, my 12th marks also were par the criteria set by the college in addition to the entrance score. Finally I got the admission here.

Admission:

After finishing higher studies I don't have any other choices for my low marks, so I did decide to do LL.B. After deciding it came to hear about the colleges in my region. From which I chose this college because it was very nearer to home and was well fledged with good academic and administrative structure I applied through the application form to get the way into the college.
