Lateral Entry life in Polytechnic

I just choosed electronics because it was a good course comparing to others I'm just aiming for lateral entry exam to btech this course I'm learning is just a step for that door. For real world applications idk how much they are preparing us because I think most of these preparations are for exam and only exam oriented those who likes the course may get the real world experience others only pass the exam. Teacher should be more focused on exam oriented teaching and should include technology like projecting images, showing videos as ai had this growth it's easy for them to teach something to us easily they should implement it. Frequency and timing is not bad because there is one month gap between each exam.

Paid 13000 rupees when joining the college.All other fees are included in the amount first paid.My batchmates who doesn't have scholarship have to pay exam fees, registration fees etc. I have got E-gratz scholarship.

I don't any technical festivals happening because mostly this is like a school. I heard there are clubs but not that much of them so and because I'm lateral entry I didnt have the opportunity to enter any of them. Libraries are there but books are limited to only the course that's available in the college there should be more books related to there things and world knowledge. Sports and extra curricular activities haven't held yet but I heard it will be there but the sports ground here are full of grass and it not painted properly and no one plays there. There should sport equipments and other things but nothing is there. Mainly in my college the political party has importance rather than other social groups or clubs the political party conducts mainly the events such as freshers party, new year party etc.

I was going to go for btw h but my marks weren't as good so going to some shitty college and taking some shitty course wasn't good for me so I choose diploma lateral entry and there was a route to btech after that. I just got that last seat in this college every others filled so electronics was a better course and there was seat I joined here. I didn't apply because my marks were low I will get in btech college but that will be really bad and the course will not be of my likings. Admission process is symbol I have called the office at the time of admission of lateral entry and I was called with other students who wanted the seat and I got the seat here according to my marks in 12th.

Most of the faculties are approachable and really makes the bond with us. Some of the office staff according to me are really not that bondable. I can't name them but there are two, three faculties who were really good to me and others in my class. I only know the name of faculties who are teaching me not others. For a semester there will be foursome exams for each module, most of them are easy but there are also difficult ones.

There were no written test or interview for the admission. It was based on my 12th marks. I submitted my 12th marks in there admission site and I got a rank. The rank was used for selecting me for the course.

I am not a hostel guy i come to the house everyday. I think there are hostels arround the college which are open also at night because I didn't saw any watchmen or and surveillance officer around. I heard that they roam around the city when it's night.
