A.S Hornby Educational Trust was developed by A.S Hornby to support English language teaching worldwide. The trust initiated the Hornby scholarship in 1961. This scholarship is provided at the University of Warwick to the English language teachers who wish to study further in order to obtain a master’s degree in English Language Teaching.
The trust is now known to be a registered charity in the United Kingdom. The funding is majorly for the graduate teachers or trainers who want to pursue a master's degree in the English Language at the University of Warwick.
Besides, the yearly course fee, Hornby scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation expenses, visa expenses, return air tickets and approved language test costs. It is a full-scholarship program and is provided every year to the international English Language teachers who have a graduate degree and work experience as a trainee or teacher.
