- Yes, it's updated and relevant to my course subject. There are also many workshops and programs available for us to gain hands-on experience. And the number of classes per day depends on your course. For my course, there are 85 people in the class.

- Multidisciplinary work culture: my research spanned two departments, and I had four supervisors with different strengths.
- Open to new ideas, some of my best innovations happened here.
- Excellent lab facilities and lab staff
Dislikes
- It was difficult to get vegetarian food during events and social gatherings. While the situation might be different now, at least in Europe, vegan snacks is default.
- During my research, some of the engineering facilities across department required payments that and they were quite expensive.
- In general, the social gathering and community is not the most welcoming for non-drinkers.
Course Curriculum
- PhD was not a taught course. There were 'Training Needs' that were identified that were specific to my research. This is equivalent to 'courseworks' that are mandated for all PhD scholars. In Leeds, it was more need-based. I wanted to learn R programming; I was sent to a one-week course. I then wanted to learn physiology techniques – I was trained in the different department and I was sent to a summer school to learn further. I really can't think of the negative aspects that I experienced during my PhD.
- I can answer the last question: I was the only Indian PhD student for four years I spent there. There was one more in a different stream but it was not really the same topic. There were Indian postdocs.
Fees
- That is something I would struggle with a bit. It's been a while. My fellowship covered the whole of the PhD tuition fees. It also covered my living expenses. For PhD, the fees was annual but they were credited automatically.
- Living costs I can estimate: My rent was about 600-700 GBP per month. Other grocery and food expenses were another 400-500 GBP. I was able to save a tiny bit but the fellowship was just enough.

- The faculty, students were for the most part friendly and willing to help students from every background get in-tune with British culture, including volunteering and work experience.
Dislikes
- The one thing I dislike is probably a lack of reaching out done by the University for students with mental health issues, I do feel it's something that the university could've done better, because there are varying factors that contribute to a student being down (a bad job market, their own personal reasons, etc.)
Course Curriculum
- Course is pretty up-to-date with current ever-changing legal stuff. Of course, things change with regard to law frequently in an unwritten constitution like the UK and over the political climate, but the university of law faculty have done well to keep up with recent trends and also provide feedback via student email on recent cases, outcomes and what they may entail in the future.

- I paid 24,500 pounds per year as tuition fees for my course.

- It was a decent experience in terms of academics.
Dislikes
- When it comes to getting a job, I was on my own.
- Unlike India, I had to approach recruiters and HRs for applications. There is no concept of campus placement or any help form the College for securing a job.

- The course was updated. Apart from the theoretical stuff, I liked the seminars a lot. They were engaging and challenging. We had visits from Corporate employees too to give us an idea about the UK work culture.
- My batch had 200 students and usually I had 2-3 classes per day, lasting 1-2 hours each.

- Great to the point curriculum, classes were well scheduled, not much industrial exposure but good number of students(60-70) in each lecture. Mostly lectures in the morning.
- Somedays a lot of lectures in the day dragging on to the evening. Staff very friendly and eager to answer questions.

- The course is extremely updated and relevant. Some of the courses had industry experts. My classes were from 9 am to 5 pm every alternate week.
- I had a class strength of 100+ students but we had combined classes for Construction Management and Engineering Project Management.

- Conducted no site visits which was most needed for the course

- One thing I really liked about my course at the University of Leeds was the frequency of networking and workshop events available to attend in a one-year course. These events not only helped students to connect with faculty outside course but provided a great platform to learn more about the current job market with discussions on relevant openings and trends.
Dislikes
- On the flip side, one thing I did not like much about the course was the short duration which meant there was lesser time to get started with academics and life in a new country while simultaneously stressing about the job market with early applications. Ideally, I would have loved to see more personal skills and networking based tasks involved in the curriculum but understand the limitations in a one-year course.

- Syllabus was relatively updated and relevant to the current data market. No direct industrial exposure or research experience was provided but the same was tried to be incorporated within the set curriculum.
- Classes went on for 3-4 hours per day, varying based on the student's personal schedule for the week. Average number of students varied from 60 to 150 depending on the elective or course.

- We get generic career fairs no real help with securing jobs or internships.

- The curriculum is relevant but we didn't get any industrial exposure. Class schedules will vary but you can expect about 5-6 hours of lectures and also practical lab work of 2-3 hours every week.
- The average number of students varies, as my course was offered by the school of mathematics, but we were allowed to take modules from the school of math, computing and the business school.
Fees
- 28750 pounds but it keeps increasing every year. On the brighter side, because of the decline in international students, there are more scholarships offered.
