Imperial College London is one of the top 10 universities in the world with an employability rate of 91%. The standard of teaching and the achievements of the faculty were highly commendable. The laboratories had up to date equipments. The campus is located in the centre of the city making it easily accessible.

Course Curriculum

10

My course syllabus is of a high standard. Each and every module is properly organised and well taught. You are given ample support via research articles, books and video links for better understanding. The course assessments really made me think and improved several skills.

Faculty

10

My department has one of the best faculties especially because of their academic achievements and behaviour towards the students. They are very considerate about the well being of the students. They are always available for questions and discussions.

Placement

9

As an international student, it is always going to be a struggle to get a job in the UK. However, I believe, the ranking of your university plays a crucial role in pushing you forward in the line. Being one of the competitive universities to get in, the name 'Imperial' surely adds an advantage.

Accommodation

10

I opted for accomodation outside the campus yet in the vicinity because the dorm fee was exorbitant. The feasible option would be to opt for private accomodation in apartments/flats where you will have all provisions to cook.

Exams

My scores: IELTS 8.5; UG CGPA 9.14/10. Minimum requirement: IELTS 7; UG CGPA 8.5 or above. GRE scores optional. Strong statement of purpose, CV and two references.

Events

10

I did most of my course online. However, I have visually seen the campus and laboratories and they are of incredibly high standards. The libraries have high speed wifi and a hug amount of computers for access. They have their own gym and over 350 clubs and societies to make you feel included.

Fees

35,600 GBP

Scholarship

I got a scholarship of 10,000GPB/year from the Faculty of Medicine. There was a specific application for the scholarship where you had to state and show proof of your academic merits and financial status.
