- I like that their programs were far better than the curriculums we follow in India.

- The placement cell is only helpful if you have previous internships of almost more than 1 or 2 years.
Course Curriculum
- The course was more of a research-based curriculum and far more relevant than what we studied in undergrad.
- Yes, we were taken on an industrial tour twice a year and received research guidance from our assigned mentors.
- Usually, a maximum of 3 in a day, with a lot of gaps in between to get you well rested and prepared. Usually starts at 10 am and some go on till 8 pm.

- I used to stay off campus. I came to know about my accommodation through an online portal. My accommodation was in a central London zone. Challenges faced in my accommodation were sometimes the noise. But overall, the accommodation was a solid 4/5.
- The staff was helpful; the study area, the lawn and the courtyard – everything was up to date. The laundry area was always clean. Even the common area and lobby used to be very happening.

- Professors and curriculum and how understanding they were when we had doubts.
- The projects and assignments were very practical and mostly had real-life examples.
- The teaching methodology and also the location of the university.
Dislikes
- I had issue with student accommodation as it's very limited and students find it hard to find accommodation outside.
- My course didn't have much student diversity compared to other courses like medical and arts which I wasn't expecting.
- Also the class timings, maybe because it's a 1 year course but sometimes we had continuous classes from 8am-4pm which was exhausting.
- I went through agents and online platforms but most agents are helpful, one should be careful while checking for accommodation online. I saw a lot of people getting scammed online in London and it's usually a bit tough so; I would highly recommend everyone to grab university accommodation as it's first come first serve and the accommodation inside is nice so go ahead with it.
- If looking for off-campus, there are two accommodations right out, which are good as well.

Course Curriculum
- The level of difficulty was moderate but challenging at times. The Modules were a mix of practical and theory which made it more fun.
- Positives – Great classrooms and Lecturers, Access to Bloomberg terminals for Finance courses made it very good to get a taste of professional data analysis, There were Tutorials where the formulas were discussed in detail and questions were solved.
- Negatives – Quant Heavy course- MY course specifically was quant heavy and you have to learn statistics and mathematics atleast till 12th level.

- My rent is a bit higher cause I chose the accommodation right opposite to my campus and lived alone in a studio. Students can choose private housing or even University housing and share their rooms with other folks which can decrease the rent significantly.
Likes
- I liked how the academics were more research-based rather than primarily focusing on theory. The approach towards teaching focuses on enhancing skills which increases job opportunities.
- The library provided a great range of study material, and the borrowing policy was great as you can borrow multiple books at a time.
- I liked the career and enterprise of my university as it helped me get an internship which was later converted into a contractual job. They assisted in building my resume and took mock interviews.
Course Curriculum
The master's programme is majorly research-based and the curriculum is specific to the area of interest. The final assignment is a thesis or research paper that one has to publish. The course is basically designed to cater to an individual's interest.

- The campus is amazing, QM is the only university in Central London that has a huge campus.
- There are therapy sessions provided to help with students' mental health, however, it's not compulsory it depends on the student if they want to opt for it or not.

- The parts that I really appreciated about my university were my professors who were very efficient in teaching us the subject, it was a very inclusive campus and it encouraged lots of technological advancements on the campus.
- Professors never pressured us, but they were really kind to us and always appreciated collaborations.
- I was also fortunate enough to get the opportunity to attend Maastricht University’s IP Conference through my university ( Queen Mary University, London), the environment of my university always made me feel safe.
Dislikes
- There was nothing in particular that I disliked about the college it's just the area where the mile-end campus is situated seems a bit unsafe, but other campuses like Lincoln’s Inn which is situated in central London seem very safe and convenient, the nearest tube station for Queen Mary’s Lincoln’s Inn campus Holborn station.
Course Curriculum
It was very updated and the professors always talked about the updated laws they always used to send notifications if any amendments were made especially in IP in Music Contracts class. My university gave us the opportunity to attend an Intellectual Property seminar at Maastricht University for academic exposure.

- Some of the modules had sub par professors. Though most of your success comes down to self study and using the resources provided by the university to the fullest. Some modules were a bit hurried and some classes were overcrowded leading to less personalised experiences.

Some modules were quite irrelevant. Check and choose modules accordingly if there is an option. I got an industrial internship which really helped but it was highly competitive to get in.

- The main reason to choose this university is the course curriculum. It is well designed which aligns with my interests. The location of the university also one of the factors which drove me to accept the admission offer.
- I like the location of my university the most. It is situated in Mile End, a 10-minute drive from central London where most of the prominent companies are located. Additionally, the university offers excellent resources for the students. The library is accessible 24/7, the classroom ambience is conducive to learning, and the course curriculum is well-designed.
Dislikes
- Although the university has dedicated courts for all games, it does not have large grounds for extracurricular activities. The main reason for this may be the lack of space in and around the campus since it is located in the city.
