Ques. Is the BCA Web Development a 3-year or 4-year course?
Ans. At IILM University the BCA is a 4-year Honours degree aligned with NEP 2020. The extra year adds advanced electives, a research component and an extended industry project, which together strengthen placement readiness compared with a standard three-year BCA. The longer honours structure also leaves room for an internship that many three-year programmes have to compress into vacations. Most students treat the final-year project and internship as the centrepiece of their resume when they begin applying for developer roles. Ques. What programming languages are taught in this course?
Ans. The curriculum covers core languages such as C, Java and Python alongside web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Students also work with React, Angular, Node.js and databases like MySQL and MongoDB to build complete front-end and back-end applications. IILM also runs coding clubs and hackathons on the Greater Noida campus so students practise these languages on competitive projects through the year. Version control with Git and basic cloud deployment are introduced too, so graduates can host and share the applications they build. Lab time is scheduled weekly so practice keeps pace with theory.
Ques. How is the BCA Web Development different from the AI-ML track?
Ans. Both tracks share the same computer application foundation and the same INR 8,00,000 total fee. The Web Development track focuses on building websites and web applications, while the AI-ML track centres on machine learning, neural networks and data-driven systems. Students can usually switch focus between the two tracks early in the programme after discussing career goals with their faculty mentor. The decision is best made with a clear career goal in mind, since web and AI roles draw on different day-to-day skills. Career counselling sessions help students pick the track that fits them.
Ques. What kind of jobs can graduates target?
Ans. Graduates commonly target roles such as front-end developer, back-end developer, full-stack developer, web designer and junior software engineer. The project portfolio built during the degree helps students apply to product companies and IT service firms in the Delhi NCR region. Ques. Can fees be reduced through scholarships?

Ques. Is mathematics compulsory for admission?

Candidates without a strong mathematics background can still apply if they took Computer Science or Information Technology, as the first year revises the required fundamentals.
